摘要: Inventive concepts and embodiments associated therewith are provided wherein an auxiliary device, that is attached to a person, is configured to function in cooperation with a destination device that is on the person. In some embodiments, the auxiliary device is uniquely associated with specific information that is to be conveyed to the destination device following reception of a signal by the auxiliary device. Embodiments are disclosed wherein, following reception of the signal by the auxiliary device, the auxiliary device processes the signal and then conveys the specific information that is uniquely associated therewith to the destination device without direct human interaction with the auxiliary device. In some embodiments, the auxiliary device comprises a personal wearable device and the destination device comprises a smartphone.

摘要: A base station apparatus (130, 220) in a network (410) transmits V2X support information indicating that a V2X service is supported by the network (410). In response to receiving V2X support information, a radio terminal (100, 120) transmits, to the network (410), V2X terminal information indicating that the radio terminal (100, 120) is interested in the V2X service. The network (410) transmits V2X configuration to the radio terminal (100, 120) in response to receiving the V2X terminal information transmitted from the radio terminal (100, 120). The radio terminal (100, 120) receives the V2X configuration and performs V2X communication in accordance with the V2X configuration. It is thus, for example, possible to contribute to achievement of a procedure for performing provisioning for the V2X service on the radio terminal that intends to use the V2X service.

The method includes receiving, by an edge node (100) in the wireless network, a plurality of contents from a core network (1000) and determining, by the edge node (100), popular content from the plurality of contents. Further, the method also includes caching, by the edge node (100), the popular content in the edge node and transferring, by the edge node (100), at least one segment of the popular content for caching to at least one UE (200) of a plurality of UEs associated with the edge node.

摘要: Systems/methods are disclosed wherein a transmitter is used to convey information to a destination device by wirelessly transmitting using first frequencies; and, responsive to a size of data that is to be transmitted, wirelessly transmitting using second frequencies; wherein at least some of the second frequencies differ from the first frequencies. In some embodiments, the transmitter comprises first and second transmitters that convey information to the destination device by wirelessly transmitting by the first transmitter first data using first frequencies and, responsive to the size of data to be transmitted, wirelessly transmitting by the second transmitter second data using second frequencies. According to some embodiments, the first and second data are transmitted simultaneously in time. According to further embodiments, a smartphone comprises the transmitter or the first and second transmitters. According to additional embodiments, a base station comprises the transmitter or the first and second transmitters.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for selecting a relay in D2D communication. The method includes: determining, by a relay selection device, link quality of a first link of each candidate relay UE in a candidate relay UE list, where the candidate relay UE list includes at least one candidate relay UE, and the first link of each candidate relay UE is a radio link between each candidate relay UE and a base station; and determining target relay UE from the candidate relay UE list according to the link quality of the first link of each candidate relay UE in the candidate relay UE list, where the target relay UE is used for relaying data transmitted between first UE and the base station.
