Abstract: A motor control apparatus controls a brake motor. The motor control apparatus includes a first motor driving portion, a first control portion, a second motor driving portion, and a second control portion. The second control portion is connected to the first control portion. The second control portion has s self-diagnosis function not provided to the first control portion. The second control portion monitors a state of a phase current in the first motor driving portion. For example, the second control portion determines that the first control portion is abnormal in a case where the waveform of the phase current in the first motor driving portion is outside a range of an expected current waveform.

Abstract: A steer-by-wire steering apparatus according to the present invention includes: a reaction force actuator control section that controls an output amount of a reaction force actuator; a steering actuator control section that controls a steering actuator in response to a manipulation of a steering operation input member, the steering actuator steering steered wheels via a steering unit; a deviation recognition section that recognizes a deviation between a manipulation amount of the steering operation input member and a steering amount of the steering unit; and a reaction force actuator output boost section that, when the deviation increases, increases the output amount of the reaction force actuator. Thus, the steering reaction force can be appropriately controlled in correspondence with a response delay in the steering amount of the steering unit with respect to the manipulation amount of the steering operation input member.

Abstract: To prevent deterioration of current detection accuracy due to a difference in deterioration between a main MOS and a sense MOS. The load drive device includes a main MOS (101) for supplying a load current to a load, a sense MOS (102) to be used for detection of the load current, and an equalizer circuit (110) and a switch (120) which are provided in parallel between the source terminal of the main MOS and the source terminal of the sense MOS. The drain terminal of the main MOS and the drain terminal of the sense MOS have a common connection, and when a current is detected, the terminal voltage of the main MOS and the terminal voltage of the sense MOS are equalized by the equalizer circuit, and the switch is opened. When a current is not detected, the equalizer circuit is stopped and the switch short-circuits the source terminal of the main MOS and the source terminal of the sense MOS.
