Abstract:
A beam power source transmits a signal indicating power availability, receives a request for power in response, and beams power in response to the request.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and other modalities are described for (a) obtaining an indication relating to an emission module (which may be dangerous, e.g.) or its user (who may be untrained, e.g.) and for (b) configuring the module or causing an irradiation (for imaging, e.g.) in response to the indication.

Abstract:
A method may include dispensing a dose of an inhalable compound according to a dosing instruction set; and maintaining a hands-free article for dispensing the inhalable compound in an operable dispensing position.
Abstract:
A system may include a means for administering a therapeutic agent to a subject; a means for administering a first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant to the subject at least substantially concurrent with the therapeutic agent, the first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant having a pharmacokinetic profile; and a means for administering a second pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant to the subject with the first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant, the second pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant having a pharmacokinetic profile different from the pharmacokinetic profile of the first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant.
Abstract:
A method is generally described which includes producing a sound from a sound device capable of producing sound. The sound device is in communication with a sound data source. The sound data source is associated with at least one set of sounds. The method also includes detecting motions, by a feedback sensor device, the motions associated with the user. The further the method includes providing information from an information source including information associated with at least one characteristic of the at least one set of sounds and providing the information to a control program configured to receive data representative of the detected motions and to receive the information. Further still, the method includes generating, by the control program, control data based on the data representative of the detected motions and the information. The control program is configured to receive data representative of the detected motions and to receive the information. The control program has a control algorithm configured to generate control data based on the data representative of the detected motions and the information. Further still, the method includes running the control program by a controller configured to output control signals based on the control data and adjusting parameters of at least one of the controller, the feedback sensor, the sound source, the information, or the control algorithm, by an adaptive system. Yet further still, the method includes delivering current from the current source to the vestibular system of the user in response to the control signals, by a vestibular stimulation device.
Abstract:
One aspect relates to combining an at least one LED-based secondary general illumination lighting with an at least one primary general illumination lighting to at least partially provide an at least one combined general illumination lighting. The aspect further comprises sensing one or more sensed optical characteristics of an at least one alternate general illumination lighting. The aspect further comprises controlling at least one controlled optical characteristics of the at least one LED-based secondary general illumination lighting to control the at least one combined general illumination lighting at least partially responsive to the sensing the one or more sensed optical characteristics of an at least one alternate general illumination lighting.
Abstract:
Devices and components that can interact with or modify propagation of electromagnetic waves are provided. The design, fabrication and structures of the devices exploit the properties of reactive composite materials (RCM) and reaction products thereof.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices are provided which include receiving data or providing data, wherein the data regards a physical condition affecting one or more subjects. The data can inform administration of a pharmaceutical composition in response to the physical condition, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is configured to contact pulmonary tissue to treat a pulmonary disease or condition in the one or more subjects. The data regarding the physical condition may be acquired prior to the subject entering an environment where the physical condition exists.
