Abstract:
A system for loading and storing CNG onboard of a barge and for unloading it therefrom comprises CNG loading facilities for loading CNG on board of the barge, CNG storage facilities for storing the loaded CNG on board of the barge at nominal storage pressure and temperature, and CNG unloading facilities for unloading CNG to a delivery point. The delivery point requires the unloaded CNG to be at delivery pressure and temperature generally different from the storage pressure and temperature. Thus, the CNG unloading facilities comprise a CNG heater for heating the to-be-unloaded CNG prior to unloading, and a lamination valve for allowing the to-be-unloaded CNG to expand from its storage pressure to the delivery pressure. A compressor may also be provided to compress CNG that would not otherwise be spontaneously delivered.
Abstract:
This invention provides an attachment for mounting electromagnetic identification tags onto the necks of bottles. The tag has a portion which provides a receptacle portion for an RFI tag. This receptacle portion is connected to a portion that embraces a neck of a bottle to attach the receptacle portion, and thereby, the RFID tag to the neck of the bottle. The identification tag may be formed from a material that does not interfere with electromagnetic signals.
Abstract:
A liquefied gas system and method can supply gas from a liquefied gas container more efficiently by using an external stabilizing device. The liquefied gas is located under its own vapor pressure in the lower portion of the container. As the vapor is withdrawn from the container at ambient pressure, the liquid evaporates at an equivalent rate to account for the decrease in pressure. The stabilizing device surrounding the liquefied gas container efficiently transfers the ambient external heat to the liquid thus allowing more liquefied gas to be vaporized.
Abstract:
Pressure tank, comprising a hollow body of thermoplastic material with at least one outlet, into which one connector each is inserted, which has at least one aperture each to the interior of the hollow body, with a sealing flange which is integrally formed around the outlet to the connector. This sealing flange is visible to the outside and is welded and/or bonded to the hollow body, on which at least one torque coupling is integrally formed, whose cross-section is polygonal or non-circular and which is inserted in a complementary coupling socket in the hollow body, running around the outlet.
Abstract:
A cryogenic storage tank system and an automatic flow path selector valve for the same, in which maintenance is more convenient, the length of pipes is minimized, and the pressure of liquefied gas in a gaseous phase inside a cryogenic storage tank is automatically adjusted.
Abstract:
There is provided a cryogenic tank having a dual construction for storing ultralow temperature liquid with improvement which allows simplicity in its construction and readiness of setup and allows reduction in the setup, yet achieves high reliability. For accomplishing the above-noted object, in a cryogenic tank having a dual construction with an inner tank for storing low-temperature liquefaction fluid therein and an outer tank enclosing the bottom and the shell of the inner tank. The inner tank includes a bottomed inner vessel formed of concrete and an inner cold resistant relief covering the inner face of the inner vessel. The outer tank includes a bottomed outer vessel formed of concrete and an outer cold resistant relief covering the inner face of the outer vessel.
Abstract:
The metallic sealed double container of the present invention includes an outer container, an inner container, an outer lid for the outer container, and an inner lid for the inner container, all of which being formed from thin metallic sheet. Connection holes are formed in the outer lid and the inner lid by burring, and both end parts of thin-walled pipes are respectively connected while inserted in the connection holes. The inner lid is joined to the inner container, and the outer lid is joined to the outer container, thereby constituting a metallic sealed double container in which the inner container is isolated in the outer container. As a result, the weight of the metallic sealed double container is reduced, the temperature in the inner container can be maintained over long periods of time, and the heat-insulating effect of the resulting sealed double container is high.
Abstract:
A gas regulator is described. The gas regulator includes a gas inlet having an attachment mechanism for attaching to a gas container, a gas outlet in fluid communication with the gas inlet and further in fluid communication with a gas delivery system, a pressure regulator, a pressure sensor and a NFC sensor. A method of entering at least one information item relating to a gas source to a gas delivery system control unit. The method includes the steps of providing a gas source having a NFC tag that includes at least one information item stored in a memory of the NFC tag, attaching a regulator that includes a NFC sensor, wherein the NFC sensor is positioned to read the NFC tag when attached to the gas source, reading the at least one information item via the NFC sensor, and transmitting the at least one information item read by the NFC sensor to a gas delivery system control unit.
Abstract:
Bag (1) for application in an external container (2) for forming a pressure vessel (2) with two separate compartments (3,4), that is manufactured from an elastic and stretchable material that is such that the bag (1) can stretch from an unstretched state to a stretched state when the bag (1) is filled with a product (9) or when the bag (1) is inflated with air, whereby the stretching of the bag (1) is reversible and whereby the stretch is so substantial that the bag (1) can be used for constructing pressure vessels (2) of diverse dimensions.
Abstract:
A bracket construction for fixedly securing a cylindrical tank such as the oxygen tank of an emergency vehicle in a vertically upright position wherein the tank is easily releasable which accommodates various sizes and configurations of upper neck sections having a backing plate with a lower surrounding member for receiving and retaining the tank bottom therewithin and an upper surrounding member including aU-shaped channel for receiving the tank neck therewithin. Two uniquely shaped bracket cams are pivotally mounted relative to the upper surrounding member and resiliently biased with respect thereto such that they can be manually manipulated or directly contacted by the arcuate neck of a tank to move to the opened position to allow exiting or entry of the tank. A lower auxiliary floor surface is pivotally secured relative to the lower surrounding member for varying the vertical dimension for accommodating tanks of various lengths and shapes.
