Abstract:
A vehicle door module comprises a drive shaft for displacing a displacement device, particularly a window lifter. The vehicle door module and the displacement device can be assembled together in any particular position of rotation of the drive shaft.
Abstract:
A drive arrangement for a shaft, such as a shaft for driving a sectional door, roller shutter or the like, is in the form of a module, carried, in use, by the shaft and including a motor, a driven wheel fixed for rotation with the shaft and drivable, in use, by the motor, and clutch means and operable between the motor and the wheel. The module further includes brace means in the form of a limb attachable to a member which is fixed relative to the axis of the shaft, to brace the module against turning as the shaft is driven.
Abstract:
[Problem to be solved] To provide a cable guide which has a simple structure and can be easily assembled.[Solution] The cable guide to change the direction of the inner cable which slide and drive the slide door of a vehicle comprises a box-like pulley case 11 whose upper surface is opened, a pulley 12 housed in the pulley case and pivoted rotatably, and a case cover 13 to cover the upper surface of the pulley case. The pulley case has a fixing portion 15 of the outer casing which slidably houses an inner cable. The fixing portion has grooves of roughly U-shaped cross section. The inner perimeter of the groove has a case protrusion 15a. A cover protrusion 13e is formed in the case cover so as to face the case protrusion.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed towards improved mounting structures and methods for formation of window regulator systems for vehicles. In one exemplary embodiment, a mounting structure for a window regulator system is provided. The mounting structure includes a main body defining cavity for rotatably receiving a portion of a pulley; and an engagement feature depending away from the main body, the engagement feature engaging the portion of the pulley and preventing movement of the pulley away from the main body, the engagement feature being substantially free of fasteners for preventing movement of the portion of the pulley away from the main body.
Abstract:
An automatic opening/closing apparatus for vehicle is downsized, and cost of the automatic opening/closing apparatus is reduced by reducing the number of its components. A driving drum is rotatably accommodated in a main body case of a driving unit, and one ends of cables are connected to a sliding door and the other ends are wound around the driving drum. An electric motor is attached to the main body case, and the driving drum is driven for rotation. A tensioner mechanism applying a predetermined tension to the cables is accommodated in the main body case. A control device, including a control substrate and a substrate case for accommodating the control substrate, is disposed to be overlapped on an axial-directional side of the driving drum to a portion of the main body case for accommodating the tensioner mechanism, whereby an operation of the electric motor is controlled by the control device.
Abstract:
An opening and closing apparatus of a vehicle includes, an opening and closing member for opening and closing an opening portion of a vehicle body; a lower hinge for pivotably supporting the opening and closing member from below; and a cover member disposed below the opening and closing member placed in a closed state for covering a pivot support portion of the lower hinge from behind, wherein when the opening and closing member is in an open state, a pivoting portion pivotably supported by the pivot support portion straddles the cover member, the opening and closing member is located rearwardly of the cover member, and an uppermost site of the pivoting portion is located at a position not higher than an upper surface of the opening and closing member.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a garage door operating system and to a kit for such a system. The system includes a two-channel cable drum where each channel is of a single-cable width. A motor is affixed to the wall of the garage either on either side of the door and is used to rotatably drive the two-channel cable drum. The two-channel cable drum has a length of cable spooled around each channel, each length of cable having one end attached to the drum and another guided through a series of pulleys and attached to the bottom of one of the sides of the door. To open or close the garage door, the motor rotates the two-channel cable drum gathering or releasing the two lengths of cable in a smooth and controlled fashion. The motor has strength sufficient to open the door without the aid of a counterbalance device.
Abstract:
A window regulator, e.g., for a vehicle window, which includes opposing block and pulley arrangements that interact via a lift pulley mounted to a lift plate that slides along a rail. Operative movement of a crank assembly in a first sense tensions a cable to move the lift plate towards a first end of the rail and operative movement of the crank assembly in a second sense, opposite the first sense, tensions a cable to move the lift plate towards a second end of the rail. The regulator enables the reduction of the operating torque requirements without affecting the packaging of the crank assembly.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a cable drum having a non-cylindrical profile of its outer surface and the use of this cable drum in a window regulator system, particularly in a vehicle. The window regulator system may include a slider assembly adapted to engage a movable window and move along a pre-defined path, a cable assembly operatively engaging the slider assembly, a cable drum having a first end, an opposed second end, and an outer surface extending substantially from the first end to the second end, with the outer surface having a non-cylindrical profile about which a portion of the cable assembly wraps; and a drive unit operatively engaging the cable drum to selectively cause the cable drum to rotate.
Abstract:
A door apparatus includes a door having a hole and configured to be slidable with respect to a vehicle body, a member configured to open and close the hole, a first detector configured to detect a position of the member relative to the hole to determine an openness of the hole, a second detector configured to detect a position of the door relative to the body, and a unit configured to be activated to project from one to another of the body and the door, so as to abut on the another such that the door is stopped from sliding in an opening direction, when the openness is greater than a threshold, and the position is between a full-closed position and a midway position.
