Abstract:
A touch module with photoelectric conversion layer includes a transparent substrate, an anti-reflection layer, a shield layer, a first electrode layer, a first insulation layer, a second electrode layer, a second insulation layer, a wiring layer, a protection layer and a photoelectric conversion layer. The transparent substrate is defined with a touch section and a non-touch section. The photoelectric conversion layer is disposed in the touch section so that the total thickness of the touch module is reduced. Moreover, the photoelectric conversion layer is combined with the touch module to convert optical energy into electrical energy and provide the electrical energy for the touch module. Accordingly, the standby and use time of the touch module is prolonged.

A wheel hub includes tubular first and second hub bodies. The first hub body includes a first surrounding wall and a first spoke-mounting segment. The first surrounding wall has a first end portion and a first coupling portion disposed on the first end portion. The first spoke-mounting segment is connected to the first surrounding wall at a position opposite to the first end portion. The second hub body includes a second surrounding wall and a second spoke-mounting segment connected to the second surrounding wall. The second surrounding wall has a second end portion facing the first end portion and a second coupling portion disposed on the second end portion and coupled fixedly to the first coupling portion.
Abstract:
A compose form for drafting a message is presented inline within a window along with a message list. For example, instead of overlaying the message application's user interface (UI) with a new window for composing a message, the compose form is displayed within a portion of the window reserved for viewing content of messages. While composing the message using the compose form, the rest of the message application's UI remains visible and accessible to the user. For example, the user may navigate to another folder and/or move to another message/conversation by interacting with the tree view/message list view. A draft of the message being composed may be automatically saved when the user navigates away from the compose form (e.g. by selecting another conversation in the list view).
Abstract:
A system and method for efficiently performing motion estimation during temporal prediction for coding. When a new frame is presented for coding, an encoder may identify a limited number of pixel blocks within the input frame that are complex. The encoder may perform motion estimation searches to find reference frame(s) that are adequate prediction references for the complex pixel blocks. The encoder may search for prediction references for the remaining pixel blocks of the new frame, confining the search to the reference frame(s) that were selected as prediction references of the complex pixel blocks.

Abstract:
A method of determining an analyte concentration employs a biosensor that includes a molecularly imprinted polymer film formed on a metal layer. The biosensor is connected to a charge/discharge circuit and charged and discharged during exposure to a solution containing an analyte. Voltage values during discharge are measured, and a characteristic parameter of the voltage values, which is associated with a concentration of the analyte detected by the biosensor, is determined. An unknown concentration of the analyte is determined by comparing the characteristic parameter to reference data representing a relation between known concentration of the analyte and the characteristic parameter of the biosensor. A biosensor, such as an anesthetic biosensor, is also disclosed.
Abstract:
This invention provides a contact lens for myopia control comprising: an object-side surface comprising a central zone, a transition zone and a peripheral zone which are concentric and have different refractive power, at least one of the three zones being aspheric; and an image-side surface; wherein the central zone provides correction power to focus a foveal image on the retina, the peripheral zone provides a myopic defocus effect by generating a para-fovea image in front of the retina, and the transition zone with one or more focuses provides a refractive power in diopter (D) ranging from +0.25 D to +8.00 D.

Abstract:
An active liquid crystal display panel includes a pixel array, a gate driving circuit, a data driving circuit, and an analog buffer. The gate driving circuit is used for driving M first scan lines where M is a natural number. The analog buffer is coupled to the gate driving circuit and includes M buffer circuits and a regulator. Each buffer circuit drives a corresponding second scan line according to an output signal of a corresponding first scan line of the M first scan lines, and the regulator is used for maintaining at least one reference voltage supplied to the M buffer circuits.

A touch panel includes a substrate, a shielding layer, a first electrode layer, a first insulation layer, a second electrode layer, a lead layer and a second insulation layer. The substrate has a touch section and a non-touch section. The shield layer and the lead layer are disposed on the non-touch section. The first and second electrode layers are disposed on touch section. The first insulation layer is disposed between the first and second electrode layers corresponding to the second electrode layer. The second insulation layer is overlaid on the second electrode layer and the lead layer. In the touch panel, the number of leads is reduced. Moreover, the touch panel is free from the problems of interference and signal interference between the electrodes.
Abstract:
