Abstract:
A grid strap includes a spacer grid spring that increases the conformal contact area with a fuel rod of a nuclear fuel rod assembly. The shape of the spacer grid spring is optimized, thereby increasing the elasticity of the spacer grid spring contacting the fuel rod, expanding the conformal contact area with a contact portion between the spacer grid spring and fuel rod to obtain uniform stress distribution, and reducing excessive plastic deformation of the spacer grid spring. Further, magnitude and distribution of contact pressure between the fuel rod and the spacer grid spring are improved, thereby reducing the possibility of fretting wear caused by contact between the fuel rod and the spacer grid spring. Lastly, the elastic behavior region of the spacer grid spring is expanded, so that the fuel rod can be reliably supported until the fuel rod expires despite changes in the supporting conditions of the fuel rod.
Abstract:
A methanation catalyst, a carbon monoxide removing system, a fuel processor, and a fuel cell including the same, and more particularly a non-supported methanation catalyst including the catalytically active non-precious metal particles and the metal oxide particles, and a carbon monoxide removing system, a fuel processor, and a fuel cell including the same. The methanation catalyst has high selectivity for the methanation of carbon monoxide instead of the methanation of carbon dioxide and the reverse water gas shift reaction of carbon dioxide, which are side reactions of the methanation of carbon monoxide, maintains high concentration of generated hydrogen as small amounts of hydrogen and carbon dioxide are consumed, and effectively removes carbon monoxide at low operating temperatures of 200° C. or less.

Abstract:
A perforated plate support supports dual-cooled fuel rods, each of which has concentric outer and inner tubes and is coupled with upper and lower end plugs at upper and lower ends thereof, and guide thimbles, each of which is used as a passage for a control rod. The perforated plate support is formed as a support plate having the shape of a flat plate, which includes internal channel holes, each of which has a diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the inner tube, guide thimble holes, each of which has a diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the guide thimble, and sub-channel holes around each internal channel hole. The upper or lower end of the dual-cooled fuel rod is coupled to the support plate such that the outer diameter of the inner tube is matched with the diameter of the internal channel hole.

The judgment system includes a dialog system and a task-planning system. The dialog system includes a dialog manager to manage the progress of a dialog of the intelligent robot with a user. The task-planning system includes a leader agent, an action agent and an interaction agent and serve to control a goal, plan and action of a task to be performed by the intelligent robot based on the dialog. The judgment system assists separation of concerns and consequently, enhances convenience of development. The judgment system of the robot contains a mechanism that considers a great number of cases, such as a task priority, immediate user input, inherent robot task, etc., enabling implementation of multi-dimensional recognitions, thoughts and actions.
Abstract:
A spacer grid for dual-cooling nuclear fuel rods arranged at a narrow interval. The spacer grid solves the problem in which, since the dual-cooling nuclear fuel rods are used to improve the cooling performance and stability of nuclear fuel and obtain high burnup and output, the outer diameter of each dual-cooling nuclear fuel rod is increased, and thus the gap between each dual-cooling nuclear fuel rod and the grid strap is decreased. The spacer grid includes first grid straps and second grid straps, which are crossed and arranged in transverse and longitudinal directions at regular intervals and have the shape of a flat strip, and support structures, which are fitted into the first and second grid straps around intersections of the first and second grid straps so as to support the dual-cooling nuclear fuel rods.
Abstract:
An electrocatalyst for a fuel cell includes a Pt—Co-based first metal catalyst, a Ce-based second metal catalyst, and a carbon-based catalyst support. A method of preparing the electrocatalyst includes obtaining a mixture of metal oxides from a Pt precursor, a Co precursor, and a Ce precursor; impregnating the mixture of the metal oxides onto a carbon-based catalyst support under hydrogen bubbling; and thermally reducing the resulting product at 200 to 350° C. under a hydrogen atmosphere.
Abstract:
A genetic robot platform and a genetic robot behavior expression method. When a controller of a robot platform driving a genetic robot, which has robot-behavior-expression-related information as gene information and of which an expression behavior is determined according to the gene information, recognizes a stimulation, the controller determines whether there is a preset instinctive behavior corresponding to the recognized stimulation. When there is a preset instinctive behavior corresponding to the recognized stimulation, the controller determines whether the recognized stimulation corresponds to the first generated stimulation or a repeatedly-generated stimulation, and determines an instinctive behavior to be expressed according to the recognized stimulation and the number of times of repeated stimulations. Then, the controller enables the robot to perform the instinctive behavior corresponding to the currently-recognized stimulation by expressing the determined instinctive behavior. Accordingly, there is an effect of providing a robot which is implemented to be more similar to real life.
