    摘要： Provided is an apparatus determining values of N and K for an abnormality diagnostic logic which makes a diagnosis N times for each diagnosis target by using observation values collected therefrom, and generates a diagnosis result showing that the diagnosis target is abnormal if the diagnosis target is judged to be abnormal K or more times. A calculator calculates average false detection rate PFP, average overlooking rate PFN, bias level of false detection MFP, and bias level of overlooking MFN, based on diagnosis result data and inspection result data. A determiner calculates an optimization metric for each combination of values N and K by using the average false detection rate, the bias level of false detection, the average overlooking rate, and the bias level of overlooking, and selects a pair of N and K by which the optimization metric becomes minimum or a threshold value or less.

A third module calculates an access speed index per unit data volume necessary to access each data storage area address. A fourth module generates a distribution table that represents the failure occurrence risk index, the power saving index, and the access speed index for each candidate address, with respect to data to be distributed. A fifth module selects a candidate address in the distribution table such that the power saving index and the access speed index meet restricting conditions and the failure occurrence risk index is minimized, and distributes the data to the candidate address.

    摘要： A cylinder head and high pressure mechanical fuel pump drive for an overhead cam shaft internal combustion engine. The cylinder head in the area of one of its cam shafts is formed with an extending ledge to which a fuel pump mounting member is affixed. This ledge and the mounting member are formed with a bore that receives a cylindrical portion of the housing of the fuel pump and which portion journals the pump driveshaft. A simple O-ring seal seals the pump mechanism in this area from the cam shaft chamber and facilitates a driving connection between the end of the cam shaft and the pump driveshaft.

    摘要： An improved induction system for a V type engine having angularly disposed cylinder banks that is comprised of a pair of plenum chambers that are disposed in side by side relationship between the cylinder banks. Intake passages extend at right angles from each plenum chamber through the other plenum chamber and serve an intake port of the opposed cylinder bank. The plenum chambers are staggered relative to each other so as to provide a void at one end of the engine in which an accessory is positioned. An intake device supplies air to the plenum chambers and it extends beneath them and is connected by fasteners which are accessible through removable covers of each of the plenum chambers.
