The opening of the nozzle receiving portion of the this well is relieved around the outer peripheral portion thereof so as to avoid the formation of an edge that can deteriorate through cracking.

    摘要： A cylinder head and high pressure mechanical fuel pump drive for an overhead cam shaft internal combustion engine. The cylinder head in the area of one of its cam shafts is formed with an extending ledge to which a fuel pump mounting member is affixed. This ledge and the mounting member are formed with a bore that receives a cylindrical portion of the housing of the fuel pump and which portion journals the pump driveshaft. A simple O-ring seal seals the pump mechanism in this area from the cam shaft chamber and facilitates a driving connection between the end of the cam shaft and the pump driveshaft.

    摘要： A combustion chamber arrangement for a direct fuel injected internal combustion engine wherein the combustion chamber is formed in part by a recess in the piston head. Fuel is injected into the combustion chamber so as to be introduced on one side of the recess with a spark plug being positioned so that its gap lies diametrically opposite the fuel injector. An arrangement is provided for introducing a swirl to the flow of fuel and the combustion chamber recess is canted so that its lower surface is deeper where the fuel first enters then on the other side so as to improve flame propagation and complete combustion while maintaining a high compression ratio.

    摘要： An electromagnetic relay comprising a box-shaped relay case having an upper opening for accommodating therein an electromagnet, a group of resilient contacts and an operation card, and a relay cover for covering the case. The relay case and cover comprise insulated partition walls for separating the electromagnet from the group of resilient contacts. The partition walls are integrally formed with the relay case and the relay cover respectively, and overlap each other when the relay cover is engaged with the relay case. The use of the partition walls provides for an increased withstand voltage for the electromagnetic relay. In addition, the relay has a coil with grooved coil bobbins capable of receiving coil terminals in such a way that the electromagnetic relay may be mounted either in a direction parallel or perpendicular to the base of the relay case.

    摘要： An automobile wheel cover has a cover body and a plurality of elastically deformable hooks projected from a backside of the cover body. Each hook has a hook portion engaging with a spoke of a wheel. The hook portion of each hook has a first slide surface made of plastic and a second slide surface made of metal. The first slide surface is slidable on a wheel surface at time of attaching the cover body to the wheel, and the second slide surface is slidable on a holding edge of a backside of the wheel at time of detaching the cover body from the wheel. Each hook includes a plastic body having the first slide surface and a metal piece, which is connected to the plastic body to provide the second slide surface. The metal pieces of two adjacent hooks are integrally connected with each other by a metal plate. When attaching and detaching the cover body to and from the wheel, each hook is deformed from an original position. The connection of the metal pieces to the metal plate provides a restoring force biasing the hooks back to the original position.
