Disclosed is a power feed system which can highly efficiently feed power to a power receiving unit from a power feed-side even though distance fluctuation or lateral shift occurs between a power feed-side helical coil and a power receiving-side helical coil. A distance measuring unit measures a inter-coil distance L1 between the power feed-side helical coil and the power receiving-side helical coil, and a control units, adjust capacitances of a power feed-side varactor and a power receiving-side varactor in accordance with the inter-coil distance L1 measured by the measuring unit.

A signaling unit of a display terminal establishes communication with a content server, video communication terminal, and PC server through a communication unit, and transmits/receives image data compressed by MPEG2, MPEG4, and JPEG. A media control unit switches compression schemes for decoding in a media processing unit on the basis of the received image data. The media processing unit performs decoding processing including inverse orthogonal transformation processing and dequantization processing in accordance with the switched compression scheme. At this time, a single processing circuit performs inverse orthogonal transformation processing and dequantization processing.

According to one embodiment, a data communication apparatus includes a communication unit configured to transmit a transmission frame and receive a reception frame via a plurality of networks, a storage unit configured to store a first identifier indicating by way of which of the plurality of networks the communication unit has received a reception frame or a second identifier indicating by way of which of the plurality of networks the communication unit transmits a transmission frame, a hardware protocol processing unit, and a software processing unit. The hardware protocol processing unit performs protocol processing on the reception frame to write the first identifier to the storage unit, and perform the protocol processing on the transmission frame to read the second identifier from the storage unit. The software protocol processing unit performs the protocol processing on the transmission frame to write the second identifier to the storage unit, and perform the protocol processing on the reception frame to read the first identifier from the storage unit.

There is provided with a video processing method including: writing first video signals representing an input video frame alternately into first and second storage regions every input video frame; reading out the written first video signals from either the first storage region or the second storage region; generating second video signals representing an output video frame including a video image represented by the first video signals read out; acquiring write region information indicating either the first storage region or the second storage region into which writing is being performed, before reading is performed; acquiring write location information indicating a location on the first or second storage region, associated with the first video signal which is being written, before reading is performed; and deciding either the first storage region or the second storage region from which reading should be performed, by using the write region information and the write location information.

A laser beam oscillated from a laser source is folded in its path by first and second plane mirrors and enters a beam expander. The surface of each plane mirror is deteriorated with illumination by the laser beam and the reflectance is reduced. To avoid a light quantity of the laser beam entering the beam expander from being reduced below a reference value, when the laser beam is illuminated over a certain time, a position on each of the first and second plane mirrors at which the laser beam is illuminated is changed by a structure for rotating and/or translating a reflecting surface of each plane mirror on a plane, which includes the plane mirror, while an optical axis is kept same. Thus, the useful life of each plane mirror can be prolonged without displacing the optical axis.

The write buffer selecting unit selects an other buffer than a buffer read out in a frame reading period for each area to be written in the period. The read buffer selecting unit selects in the period a buffer to which the writing was performed in an immediately preceding reading period for an area for which writing was performed in the preceding period, and a same buffer as a buffer readout in the preceding period for an area for which the writing was not performed.
