Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel; a backlight unit to provide a light to the liquid crystal panel, the backlight unit includes an optical sheet and a light guide plate; and a main support to receive the liquid crystal panel and the backlight unit together, the main support having first and second movement preventing members to prevent shifting of the optical sheet and the light guide plate of the backlight unit in a direction on a plane, and a third movement preventing member to prevent shifting of the light guide plate of the backlight unit in a direction normal to the plane.
Abstract:
A touch panel device includes a wiring terminal, a flexible printed circuit film connected to the wiring terminal, an adhesion part corresponding to a location where the flexible printed circuit film is connected to the wiring terminal, and an adhesion-reinforcing part adjacent to the adhesion part for strengthening an adhesive bonding strength of the adhesion part.
Abstract:
A base station adds a paging message indicator representing a position of a frame to receive a paging advertisement message and a paging subgroup indicator representing a paging subgroup to which the paging advertisement message is to be transmitted to a PGID-INFO message and transmits the PGID-INFO message to a terminal, and the terminal determines whether a paging advertising message is to be transmitted using a paging message indicator and a paging subgroup indicator of the PGID-INFO message and a position of a frame to receive a paging advertisement message.
Abstract:
A method of allocating a resource by a base station is provided. The base station allocates a plurality of radio resources for transmitting a plurality of data bursts to a plurality of subframes in one frame, respectively, and generates a resource allocation information signal including allocation information on the plurality of radio resources. The base station transmits the resource allocation information signal to a mobile station through one subframe.
Abstract:
An apparatus for group communication in a base station through a plurality of terminals connected to a terminal coupler receives periodic reports of Carrier to Interference Noise Ratio (CINR) from the plurality of terminals, calculates the moving average CINR and makes a BS-initiated handover decision for the plurality of terminals, and controls the plurality of terminals to simultaneously perform handover to a target base station.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for remote power management capable of remotely controlling power consumption. The method for remote power management includes: allowing a power management device to generate power information on the basis of power consumption information collected from at least one electronic apparatus and transmit the generated power information to a user terminal through a wireless communication network; and to control an operation of the at least one electronic apparatus in accordance with a control command transmitted in response to the power information from the user terminal through the wireless communication network.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a system and method for coupling communication terminals. In a communication method performed by a terminal coupler according to the present invention, sequence numbers are sequentially assigned to data packets received from a terminal end device. The data packets with the sequence numbers assigned thereto are individually transferred to a plurality of communication terminals belonging to a same group in conformity with preset scheduling policies. Data packets, received from the plurality of communication terminals belonging to the same group, are reordered by sequence numbers, and the reordered data packets are transferred to the terminal end device.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for retransmission in a terminal and a base station, the method including: receiving a data burst transmitted by occupying at least one subframe from the other one of the terminal and the base station; determining a transmission timing for transmitting a feedback signal based on a value, determined by transmission information of the data burst including the number of subframes occupied by the data burst, and a frame offset; transmitting the feedback signal to the other one of the terminal and the base station at the transmission timing; and if an NACK message is included in the feedback signal, receiving the data burst retransmitted from the other one of the terminal and the base station.
Abstract:
Provides are method and apparatus for wireless positioning. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a method for wireless positioning, which includes: receiving signals from a plurality of transmitters; determining propagation delay tabs of the plurality of transmitters, from the signals received from the plurality of transmitters, respectively; setting the order of the plurality of transmitters in accordance with the propagation delay tabs; measuring distances between a receiver and the transmitter, respectively; and estimating the position of the receiver, by using the order and the measured distance.
Abstract:
In order for a femto cell base station located within an area of a macro cell base station to provide a paging service to a terminal, the femto cell base station receives paging information from the macro cell base station having the same paging group ID as that of the femto cell base station. Then, common paging area information including paging information is transmitted to the terminal, and when a paging message is received from a paging controller, the received paging message is transmitted based on the common paging area information to the terminal, thereby providing a paging service to the terminal.
