摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. During an operation for discovering reconfigurable surfaces, a sensing signal may be transmitted. Based on the sensing signal being transmitted, another signal may be detected at the device that transmitted the sensing signal, another device, or both. The device that detects the signal may combine the detected signal with a modulation sequence that is associated with a reconfigurable surface, where the reconfigurable surface may be assigned a set of unique modulation sequences and configured to apply a modulation sequence to received signals. Based on combining the detected signal with the modulation sequence, the device may determine whether the reconfigurable surface is present within a geographic region.

Generally, a user equipment (UE) may support both unicast and multicast downlink signaling, such as on a single component carrier (CC). A UE may receive a unicast message over a first CC during a transmission time interval (TTI) using a first set of processing resources. The UE may simultaneously receive a multicast message over the first CC during the same TTI using a second set of processing resources. The first and second sets of processing resources may be associated with first and second hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) soft buffers, first and second CCs, or first and second transmit/receive points (TRPs).

A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The DCI may include one or more of an indication of a set of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states related to a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), one or more receive beams associated with the set of TCI states, or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheme. The UE may decode the DCI and may determine a temporal period associated with the indication of the set of TCI states. The UE may receive, based on the temporal period, the PDSCH according to one or more of the set of TCI states, the one or more receive beams associated with the set of TCI states, the PDSCH scheme, or one or more default receive beams.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit a UE capability message, the UE capability message indicating a supported transmit antenna switching (TxAS) capability for each port of the UE. The UE may receive a configuration message indicating an uplink multiple-input/multiple-output (UL MIMO) configuration for the UE, the UL MIMO configuration being based at least in part on the UE capability message. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the configuration message, a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration to use for transmitting SRSs in conjunction with the UL MIMO communications, the SRS configuration comprising a configuration for transmission by the UE of SRSs using at least one of the two or more ports of the UE, the SRSs transmitted on one or more antennas of the UE selected according to a TxAS configuration for the respective port.

摘要: Aspects relate to supporting power control for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions on an uplink secondary component carrier (SCC) of a wireless communication system. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) receives a power control configuration from a base station for use by the UE for a PUCCH transmission on a selected uplink SCC. The UE then transmits, based at least in part on the power control configuration, the PUCCH to the base station on the selected uplink SCC. Closed-loop and open-loop power control examples are provided. In some aspects, common or shared power control configurations are provided by the base station for use with each component carrier of a PUCCH group. In other aspects, carrier-specific power control configurations are provided by the base station.
