Abstract:
A plasma display panel having a structure that enables high definition progressive display and has good productivity is provided. A dielectric layer that covers display electrodes is made a layer whose surface has projections and depressions along undulations of the surface on which the dielectric layer is formed. A partition is arranged so as to face the projections of the surface of the dielectric layer for ensuring a ventilation path for exhausting air.
Abstract:
A portable terminal wearable on a forearm includes a display screen that can be adjusted to be almost perpendicular to a visual axis of a user without interrupting an operation being performed by the hand connected to the forearm, and can be protected from an unexpected external impact. The portable terminal is worn near the wrist of the forearm via a forearm fixing band of a forearm mounting unit. A first rotary mechanism enables an x-axis of the display screen of the display unit to be adjusted, so that the screen is visible. Upon operation of the first rotary mechanism, a hinge case and display unit are turned to a certain angle with respect to the forearm mounting unit. Then, a second rotary mechanism enables a y-axis of the display screen to be adjusted, so that the screen is further visible. Upon operation of the second rotary mechanism, the display unit is turned to a certain angle with respect to the hinge case.
Abstract:
An electrode for a display device, including a laminate of an underlying layer, a conductive layer and a protective layer formed on a substrate in this order from the substrate side in such a manner that at least the conductive layer is completely covered by the protective layer, the underlying layer and the protective layer being composed of a metal which is hard to form an alloy or intermetallic compound with the metal constituting the conductive layer and has a low solid solubility to the conductive layer.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes a porous interlayer insulation film including therein a stacking of SiO2 particles having a diameter in the range between about 5 nm and about 50 nm and stacked so as to form a void between adjacent particles, wherein the interlayer insulation film has a porosity in the range between about 13% and about 42%.
Abstract:
A reticle is designed with a method including a step of generating first dummy patterns with intervals from main patterns. Each of the first dummy patterns are divided into a plurality of spaced apart second dummy patterns and then each of the second dummy patterns are measured to find third dummy patterns having widths and areas below smallest allowable values. The third dummy patterns are then respectively connected to second dummy patterns which are adjacent to the third dummy patters by generating a connecting dummy pattern. Selective non-connected third dummy patterns are removed. The first dummy patterns are divided into a plurality of second dummy patterns by vertical and horizontal strip lines crossing the first dummy patterns.
Abstract:
A process for producing a nonwoven fabric having the steps of: bonding polypropylene long-fibers constituting main fibers of the web to one another to produce a raw nonwoven fabric; and uniaxially drawing the raw nonwoven fabric at certain draw temperatures and draw magnifications to produce a final nonwoven fabric.
Abstract:
An improved exhaust port assembly, for an internal combustion engine comprises a port pipe made of heat resistance steel covered by a fibrous ceramic sheet which is covered by an aluminum foil to prevent molten aluminum from penetrating the fibrous ceramic sheet when aluminum casting.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an iron core assembly for magnetizing columnar permanent magnet, particularly columnar ceramic permanent magnets adapted for use in magnetic-brush type electrostatic developing apparatus. The invention is to clarify the magnetic pattern most effective for the development, as well as a construction for presenting such a pattern, and is aiming to provide a magnetizing iron core assembly having an improved construction of magnetic poles and magnetizing coil windings.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an improved dies set for magnetizing a cylindrical or columnar magnet adapted for use in an electrostatic developing apparatus of magnetic-brush developing type. The dies set is intended for imparting axially extending and circumferentially alternating magnetic poles to the periphery of the cylindrical columnar permanent magnet. The magnetizing dies set of the invention has a specific pattern of magnetic pole arrangement for rendering the distribution of magnetic attracting force, which is to be permanently applied to the peripheral surface of the columnar magnet in the magnetic developer, so that the attracting force becomes as uniform as possible, over the entire periphery of a shell surrounding the permanent magnet.
