摘要: Provided are bipolar transistor, BiCMOS device and method of fabricating thereof, in which an existing sub-collector disposed beneath a collector of a SiGe HBT is removed and a collector plug disposed at a lateral side of the collector is approached to a base when fabricating a Si-based very high-speed device, whereby it is possible to fabricate the SiGe HBT and an SOI CMOS on a single substrate, reduce the size of the device and the number of masks to be used, and implement the device of high density, low power consumption, and wideband performance.

摘要: A narrowband microstrip type bandpass filter adapted for a home network, telematics, an intelligent traffic system, and a satellite Internet, includes: an input terminal for receiving a predetermined signal; an output terminal for outputting a selection signal in a characteristic band; a first resonator electrically coupled with at least a portion of the input terminal; a second resonator electrically coupled with at least a portion of the first resonator; and a third resonator electrically coupled with at least a portion of the output terminal and the second resonator. A magnetic coupling is provided using a cross coupling gap or a cross coupling line between non-adjacent resonators, so that a pattern can be simplified by optimizing the design and the manufacturing process to provide low-cost millimeter-wave parts. The manufacturing cost can be reduced by miniaturizing the parts, and the mass production can be readily realized.

摘要: The present invention relates to a cathode for use in a field emission device. In a triode-type cathode for use in an electron emission device being a core component constituting a field emission device, the present invention includes forming a catalytic layer at the sidewall of a gate hole and then growing an emitter in the catalytic layer, thus uniformly distributing an electric field generated by a voltage applied to a gate electrode over the emitter. Therefore, the present invention can improve the brightness contrast at a low anode voltage and also can control electrons emitted from the emitter only with the gate voltage.

The field emission device of the present invention includes a resistor connected between a gate electrode and an external terminal to prevent a leakage current by an electrical connection between the gate electrode and the emitter. Therefore, the power consumption of the device is decreased and the operating characteristic of the device is improved.

摘要: The present invention relates to an optical data recording device using SIL (Solid Immersion Lens) in order to store information with high capacity, and more particularly to the multiple optical-recording apparatus capable of doing multiple information storage and play by forming multiple focus within the SIL. The present invention utilizes the optical technology by multiple source in order to overcome the limit of improving the recording speed and transfer rate due to the mechanical transfer and access, the flying head technology, which was proposed to increase the transfer rate and recording access speed in the near-field recording technology. The present invention can increase the recording speed and transfer rate using optical technology transcending the limit of mechanical transfer and access according to the number of the optical sources and focuses by recording and playing several pits simultaneously after forming multiple optical focus by multiple sources on the recording medium.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of packaging a field emission display. The method of packaging a field emission display, comprising the steps of: forming an opening on a selected area of a lower substrate on which field emission elements are formed and forming a silicon layer on a lower surface of said lower substrate; combining a upper substrate, on which a transparent electrode and luminescent material are formed, and said lower substrate by a lateral wall; placing a cap on said opening after performing a vacuum process through said opening; performing a thermal treatment process so that said cap is combined with said silicon layer by silicide created by the reaction of said cap and said silicon layer, thereby sealing said opening; and completely sealing said opening by adhesives.

摘要: A field emission display having an n-channel high voltage thin film transistor is disclosed. According to the present invention, a signal for driving pixels controls by the nHVTFT attached with each pixel, therefore, the signal voltage of row and column drivers is exceedingly decreased. As a result, it is possible to implement a field emission display capable of providing a high quality picture in a low consumption power, a low driving voltage and inexpensive to manufacture, and preventing a line cross talk using the nHVTFT. By using a cylindrical resistive body underlying a cone-shaped emitter tip, the present invention is to provide a field emission display having an excellent contollability and stability of the emission current, and a dynamic driving capability.
