摘要： A method for manufacturing an electroluminescence panel includes: forming a light emitting portion in each of a plurality of portions of a glass substrate; forming a protective layer of an inorganic material that can be cut apart by a scribe and break method to cover the light emitting portions; providing a scribe line on a surface of the glass substrate opposed to a surface in which the protective layer has been formed and at a position corresponding to the protective layer; and cutting the glass substrate and the protective layer along the scribe line in such a manner as to divide the glass substrate into a plurality of sections each including the light emitting portion. Thus, a scribe clearance for breaking the single glass substrate is decreased.

摘要： Upon the sale of merchandise by a vending machine, encrypted point information expressing prescribed points is presented to a user. The user transmits the presented point information, together with identification information for the user, to a center device by means of the user's portable telephone set. The center device decrypts the transmitted and encrypted point information, stores and manages points corresponding to the point information for the user, and offers prescribed service to the user based on the points stored and managed for the user.

摘要： There is provided a battery control apparatus that, when the battery temperature is low, repeats the charge and discharge of a battery on a short cycle such that the state of charge (SOC) of the battery lies in the range of 30 to 40% if the present SOC is less than 50%, and repeats the charge and discharge of the battery on a short cycle such that the SOC lies in the range of 50 to 60% if the present SOC is equal to or greater than 50%, thus increasing the temperature of the battery. Therefore, it is possible to increase the battery temperature in an efficient manner, and to prevent the available input-output power of the battery from being reduced due to a decrease in the battery temperature.

The device includes at least two electrodes that are in contact with a liquid containing the protein-covered particles and a circuit that generates a potential difference in a range that does not cause electrolysis of the liquid between the electrodes.
