    摘要: A gas regulation system is provided comprising a source of a breathable gas, a tube in communication with the source for delivering the breathable gas from the source to an individual, and a valve for controlling the rate of gas flow from the source to the individual for inhalation. A remote control unit for controlling the valve is also provided to allow the individual to adjust the rate of gas flow from the source through the tube to the individual independently from any inhalation activity by the individual. Typically, the system excludes any means for automatically adjusting the rate of gas flow from the source through the tube to the individual according to the level of physical activity of the individual. The invention is particularly useful when the valve is out of the individual's reach. Also provided is a method for delivering of a breathable gas to an individual.

    摘要: The present invention is a web-based software application designed to monitor implementation of an issue. The invention includes receiving information from a user on the issue to be monitored; receiving information from a user on an assignment on the issue; and sending the assignment to a recipient. An acknowledgement is received from the recipient on the assignment. Reminders are forwarded to the recipient when the acknowledgement is not received within a predetermined time period, and the reminders can be automatically forwarded at predetermined time periods. Information is received on the issues from a user or an external source, and listed in a form which can be filtered and sorted according to predetermined criteria. A completion status of the regulatory issue can be displayed.

    摘要: A method and system for delivering goods to recipients is disclosed. The method and system include a remote input receptor which includes a user interface for receiving one or more user inputs from a user. A cloud-based network stores one or more acceptable inputs and comprising a network device for obtaining said one or more user inputs from the remote input receptor. The network device obtains the one or more user inputs from the remote input receptor while the user is using the user interface. Also, the cloud-based network compares the one or more user inputs to the one or more acceptable inputs, with the acceptable inputs at least partially derived from dynamically changing environmental parameters. A remote device is controlled based on the comparison of the one or more user inputs to the one or more acceptable inputs and generating an access code to enable access to an enclosure, with the user inputs comprising the access code. The delivery status for the of goods intended for deposit in the enclosure is monitored. Finally, the access code is automatically caused to expire in response to detecting fulfillment of the delivery.

    摘要: A vented closure is provided for use on a liquid container. The body of the closure (16) includes a dispensing port and a vent (28) extending therethrough with the vent adjacent the dispensing port (26). The tube (32) extends through the dispensing port (26) and has a flange (38) extending laterally therefrom, engaging the outer surface (20) of the closure body. A flexible seal (40) member is positioned on the tube (32), spaced from the inner surface (28) and having a frusto-conical shape where the inner end (40a) of the member is formed at the tube (32). The outer end (40b) is spaced away from the tube (32) and engages the inner surface (28) of the closure body (16), forming a hollow area (41) between the member (40) and the tube (32). The flexible seal member (40) is movable radially away from the tube (32) and away from the inner surface (28) to the inflow of air through the vent and over the flexible seal member (40).
