    摘要: A variable valve timing control device includes a housing member, a rotor member assembled to the housing member so as to be rotatable relative thereto and including vane portions each forming an advanced angle chamber and a retarded angle chamber within the housing member, a stopper formed on the convex portion for restricting a relative rotation between the housing member and the rotor member, a lock mechanism for restricting the relative rotation by a lock member, and a fluid pressure circuit for controlling an operation oil to be supplied to or discharged from the advanced angle chamber, the retarded angle chamber, and the lock mechanism. When the relative rotation is restricted, the lock member is in contact with an inner peripheral face of the receiving hole on the advanced angle side and the retarded angle side between an opening portion and a bottom portion of the receiving hole.

    摘要: Imaging apparatus having a video memory function includes a video memory having a plurality of read ports and a capacity of storing images in two fields or more, wherein CCD storage sensitivity enhancement means is connected to a write port; a write control circuit for storing a single-field image in each memory area provided by dividing the storage space of the video memory into a plurality of sub-spaces; a plurality of read control sections for reading a single-field image stored in each memory area; and memory control means for reading an image from the video memory by a delay amount corresponding to the timing of a synchronization signal from the CCD storage sensitivity enhancement means. This configuration allows adjustment of the delay amount and prevents an image write address from passing by an image read address so that image data given CCD storage sensitivity enhancement is processed normally.

    摘要: A portable information processing apparatus, having a detachable liquid crystal display panel/input tablet, whereof the liquid crystal display panel/input tablet can be detached from the apparatus even when the main body is powered on, i.e., is being operated. The portable information processing apparatus comprises: support means for detachably supporting a liquid crystal display panel on a main body; detection means for detecting detachment/attachment of the liquid crystal display panel; and first and second connectors for providing a connection for video signal lines and a power line that connect the liquid crystal display panel and the main body. When the liquid crystal display panel is detached from the main body, the first and the second connectors can communicate with each other via a cable. When the detection means detects that the liquid crystal display panel has been detached, the output of video signals from the main body to the display panel is disabled, and then the power supply to the liquid crystal display panel is halted (local suspend). As a result, the disorderly open state of the signal output line and the power line to the display panel is avoided, and the deterioration of hardware is prevented. In parallel to the local suspend operation, the main body of the apparatus saves data required for the resumption of a task, and halts the operation of the entire system (system suspend).

    摘要: Disclosed are a display control unit and a control method therefor, for permitting images provided by a plurality of video image sources to overlie, whereby an area of an overlying image plane wherein an original video image source that is composed of lines and shade patterns is displayed by interpolating an original image, and whereby an area wherein an original video image source that is composed of video images is displayed non-interpolated without interpolation. According to the present invention, whether or not the interpolation on image data is required is determined for each pixel by employing a changed value of luminance for each pixel between scan lines, a color difference signal, and color data. Even when a computer image and a video image are displayed on the same screen at the same time, optimal display can be performed on the individual image planes.

The optical waveguide substrate has positioning guide grooves which can engage with the arranging guide grooves. The pitch of the optical waveguides on end faces of the optical waveguide substrate coincide with the pitch of the arranging guide grooves, so that the optical fibers and the optical waveguides are coupled accurately without any adjustment.
