    摘要: Disclosed are a display control unit and a control method therefor, for permitting images provided by a plurality of video image sources to overlie, whereby an area of an overlying image plane wherein an original video image source that is composed of lines and shade patterns is displayed by interpolating an original image, and whereby an area wherein an original video image source that is composed of video images is displayed non-interpolated without interpolation. According to the present invention, whether or not the interpolation on image data is required is determined for each pixel by employing a changed value of luminance for each pixel between scan lines, a color difference signal, and color data. Even when a computer image and a video image are displayed on the same screen at the same time, optimal display can be performed on the individual image planes.

    摘要: Described is a battery switching circuit in which a first battery and a second battery are connected to a common feeding point via a first feeding circuit and a second feeding circuit each including a semiconductor switch. The switch is alternately turned on so that one of the first and second batteries supplies electric power to the feeding point at a time. The battery switching circuit includes a first temperature sensor disposed in the proximity of the switch. A temperature detector is connected to the temperature sensor for generating an operational output in response to the output of the temperature sensor when the temperature of the switch exceeds a predetermined temperature. Lastly, a circuit is connected to the switch and is responsive to the operational output of the temperature detector for turning off the switch disposed in the proximity of the temperature sensor. Because the switch is protected from being overheated, it can be mounted on a low cost nonmetallic substrate.

    摘要: A polyphase sequentially joined-segment coil of a rotary electric machine and a production method thereof are provided. The coil is made up of a plurality of conductor segments joined in series. Each of the conductor segments a head projecting from a stator core, a pair of legs, and a pair of ends projecting from the stator core. The heads are of two types: a large-sized head and a small-sized head extending inside the large-sized head. This structure permits the length of the conductor segments in an axial direction of the core to be decreased and improves cooling capability of the machine and coil losses.

In one type, the ray resistor shifts toward the object at a speed different from that of the most object side lens of the zoom lens system as the zoom lens system is zoomed toward the longest focal length, which effectively blocks harmful rays causing coma flare in the peripheral area. In another type, the aperture diameter of the ray restrictor varies according to a zooming operation. The ray restrictor of any type is especially effective when used in a zoom lens system composed of two lens groups. By introducing one or more aspherical surfaces satisfying a certain condition (or conditions) in the zoom lens system, various aberrations are further favorably corrected.
