摘要: Provided to stabilize generation of address discharge and improve gradation characteristics of display images are the following elements: a plasma display panel; a sustain pulse generating circuit; and a ramp voltage generating circuit including a first ramp voltage generating circuit, a second ramp voltage generating circuit, and a switching circuit. The first ramp voltage generating circuit generates a first ramp voltage gently increasing in an initializing period. The second ramp voltage generating circuit generates a second ramp voltage increasing with a gradient gentler than that of the rising edge of a sustain pulse and steeper than that of the first ramp voltage, at the end of each sustain period. The switching circuit stops the operation of the second ramp voltage generating circuit immediately after the second ramp voltage reaches a predetermined electric potential. In at least one sustain period of one field, no sustain pulse but the second ramp voltage is generated.

摘要: The method for driving a plasma display panel effects control of the subfields as follows. The all-cell initializing operation on the discharge cell is carried out in the initializing period of at least one sub-filed; the rest of the subfields other than the aforementioned subfield selectively carry out an addressing operation in each discharge cell. Gradation display is attained by combination of a subfield having an address discharge in the address period and a sub-filed with no address discharge in the address period. In a discharge cell where an address discharge is generated in the address period of a subfield that follows the subfield having the all-cell initializing operation in the initializing period, the subfield having the all-cell initializing operation has an address period for generating an address discharge.

摘要: In a vehicle steering control device, a steering torque estimation unit estimates steering torque of a steering wheel based on driving current of an electric actuator; a torque sensor detects the steering torque of the steering wheel; an electric power assist unit is controlled based on the steering torque detected by the torque sensor; and a comparison unit compares the torque detected by the torque sensor with the steering torque estimated by the steering torque estimation unit. The electric power assist unit is controlled based on the estimated steering torque in place of being controlled based on the torque detected by the torque sensor when the torque sensor is judged to be abnormal, based on a comparison.

摘要: A vehicular steering system can suppress steering of steerable road wheels in a direction not intended by a driver. A steering mechanism steers the steerable road wheels in accordance with a steering wheel and an auxiliary steering angle superposition mechanism. A calculation section calculates a target auxiliary steering angle corresponding to a steering wheel angle of the steering wheel. A detection section accurately detects the auxiliary steering angle based on detection signals of a rotation angle sensor that detects a rotation angle of a rotational member. A driving section controls the auxiliary steering angle superposition mechanism so as to make the auxiliary steering angle coincide with the target auxiliary steering angle. An auxiliary steering angle detection abnormality monitoring section detects abnormality of the auxiliary steering angle detection section. The auxiliary steering angle detection section includes a counting section that counts the number of revolutions per minute of the rotational member.

摘要: Barrier ribs are disposed on a back substrate so as to separate main discharge cells formed of a display electrode pair and a data electrode which face each other and priming discharge cells formed of a clearance between two adjacent scan electrodes. The top parts of the barrier ribs are formed so as to abut on a front substrate. In a driving method, in an odd-numbered line writing time period, scan pulse Va is sequentially applied to odd-numbered scan electrode SCp and voltage Vq is applied to even-numbered scan electrode SCp+1 to cause priming discharge between scan electrode SCp+1 and odd-numbered scan electrode SCp. 摘要: A dispenser has a seal disk (30), a valve member (40), a plunger guide block (50), a motor (3), which rotates a cam-follower guide block (60), and an end cam (5). The seal disk (30) has communication holes (31), (32) and a sliding surface (33). The valve member has a sliding surface (41), three plunger holes (42) and three plungers (80) inserted in the plunger holes. The cam-follower guide block (60) has three guide holes (62) that receive cam followers, which each have a body (70) with a ball (75) within a recess (71). The ball (75) contacts the cam surface (5A) of the cam (5) which causes the cam followers and plungers (80) to move back and forth parallel to the dispenser axis. The coefficient of friction between the ball and the recess is less than that between the ball and the cam surface (5A).
