摘要: In a process for assessing the quality of a print image produced on a printing material in a multi-color printing process, in which signals which reproduce print-image elements are generated with an image-recording arrangement, in which color values are derived from the signals for every print-image element, in which the color values are transformed into color measures of a predetermined color space, in which color distances between an actual color site and a desired reference color site are determined for the print-image elements, correction variables of the control elements (18, 19, 20, 21), whose effect on a control element (18) would cause the actual color sites to be as close as possible to the reference color sites, are calculated from the color distances and stored in memory, that the color-distance vectors (.DELTA.L.sub.Bn, .DELTA.a.sub.Bn, .DELTA.b.sub.Bn) and color distances (.DELTA.E.sub.Bn) of at least one predetermined reference image (B.sub.n) with homogeneous area coverage are determined as a measure for the quality in the said print-image region, the correction variables (.DELTA.s.sub.B, .DELTA.s.sub.C, .DELTA.s.sub.M, .DELTA.s.sub.Y) which are necessary for compensation of the color distances (.DELTA.E.sub.Bn) in the reference image (B.sub.n) corresponding to the previously calculated and stored correction variables.

摘要: The deliveries to the printing ink industry of pigment preparations in the form of flushed pastes increasingly take the form of containers. Given the required high pigment content of the pastes and the attendant high viscosity and thixotropy, there are very frequent problems with filling the containers and complaints concerning the emptying of the containers. There is a demand for a homogeneous, pumpable pigment paste having a long shelf life. According to the invention, this demand is met in the case of pigments based on arylpararosanillnesulfonic acids by the use of specific aids of the type of the condensation products of aliphatic amines or ammonium compounds with polyesters of hydroxy fatty acids as part of the flushing process of the pigment using the customary or slightly modified binder systems which for the same pigment contents bring about a distinctly lower viscosity and thixotropy. The printing properties are not adversely affected.

摘要: Contacts such as contact points, contact strips, or contact sections are usually provided with hard solder on a copper-silver basis in the form of a flat solder layer. The contact is then connected over this solder layer with a contact carrier. The solder layer is melted, whereupon the free surface of the solder layer (13, 130) is covered during melting with a material (1, 5, 15) that has no solubility with silver or copper. The material can, during melting of the solder, form a covering (1, 15) beneath the contact (10, 12, 100) provided on its solder side with the solder layer (13, 130) or can also form a covering over the contact (10, 12, 100) provided on its solder side with the solder layer (13, 130). As materials for covering the solder layer (13, 130), high-melting metals, preferably tantalum, or a ceramic are used. In the case of a semi-finished product for use as a contact, the solder layer (13, 130) is in intimate contact over its entire surface with the solder side of the contact (10, 12, 100 ) and has the structure of a melt.

摘要: Method for zonally controlling and regulating inking in a printing machine having a plurality of printing units includes photo-electrically measuring, at least at one location of each inking zone, a printed product provided in the printing machine, determining an actual color locus from the measurements, comparing the determined actual color locus with a prescribed setpoint color locus of the respective location and, in the event of a spacing between the compared color loci, calculating corrective control data for inking elements of the printing machine and transmitting the control data to the printing units so as to minimize the spacing between the actual and setpoint color loci, the actual color locus meeting tolerance requirements by lying within a prescribed color tolerance and within a permissible region at a setpoint color locus characterized by an absence of color change; and device for performing the method.

摘要: A card clothing for a stationary or movable carding segments of a carding machine includes at least two rows of groups of tips. The rows are located one after another in the direction of carding and each row extends transversally of the direction of carding. Each group has from two to six tips positioned one after another. The groups of the tips in the first row are laterally spaced from each other a distance equal to at least three widths of each group. The groups of tips arranged in the following row are laterally offset relative to the groups of the previous row, as seen in the direction of carding, a distance equal to at least the width of one group.

摘要: A warp knitting machine has a row of needles, a row of warp thread guides for feeding to the needles warp threads which form the chain stitches of a ground fabric and a row of weft thread guides for feeding to the needles weft threads which form the inlay of the ground fabric. At least one row of pile thread guides is used to feed a respective pile thread to each needle. A row of pile-thread reserve-forming supports is provided, each support being individually shiftable, by a jacquard mechanism, from a reserve-forming position to a reserve-releasing position. The reserve-forming support, when in the reserve-forming position, forms a reserve length in a respective pile thread, by increasing the length of the path which the pile thread takes to a respective needle. Each and every pile thread is provided with such a reserve length in each and every course of the fabric. Each needle is provided with a clamp which clamps the pile thread to the needle. Selected pile threads have their reserve-forming supports move to reserve-releasing position before the needles to which the selected pile threads are clamped reach cast-off position, as a result of which the selected pile threads are pulled through the old chain stitches of their needles and appear on a first side of the fabric. In contrast, the non-selected pile threads do not have their respective reserve-forming elements move to reserve-releasing position, and as a result during retraction of their needles to castoff position they are yanked out of their respective clamps, are therefore not pulled through the old chain stitches of their respective needles, and instead remain at the second side of the fabric where they constitute pile loops on the second side of the fabric. Because of this action, the amount of pile thread drawn is the same for both a selected and a non-selected pile thread. Accordingly, complex pile patterns can be implemented while still permitting supply of the pile threads to the needles from off a simple warp beam.

摘要: A method for color control in printing presses having at least one first color measuring instrument and at least one second color measuring instrument, includes registering at least one first inking zone on a printing material with the first color measuring instrument and registering at least one other, second inking zone on the printing material with the second color measuring instrument. In a first step, a color difference between actual colorations of the first and second inking zones is calculated, in a second step, a color difference between an actual coloration of the first inking zone and a desired coloration of the second inking zone is calculated and, in a further step, the calculated color differences are added and supplied to a color control for the second inking zone.
