摘要: There is provided a failure diagnostic system of an evaporated fuel processing system, which comprises a first failure diagnostic device that shuts off an evaporated fuel purge passage connecting a fuel tank and an engine intake passage from the air and determines whether there is any leakage from a large hole by monitoring the degree of increase in pressure in the fuel tank in which engine intake negative pressure is introduced; and a second failure diagnostic device that reduces a pressure the fuel tank to a predetermined negative pressure and seals off the fuel tank from the air to carry out failure diagnosis as to whether there is any leakage from a small hole by monitoring the degree of increase in pressure in the fuel tank. An operating range of the second failure diagnostic device is set to substantially include an operating range of the first failure diagnostic device and to be extended from the operating range of the first failure diagnostic device to include a lower intake negative pressure range.

摘要: The process for preparing ceramic powder having a core-shell structure by dissolving a crystalline ceramic powder In water so as to leave a core portion of the ceramic powder while heating; depositing a component of the ceramic powder dissolved in the water on and around surfaces of the core portion thereof as a deposited material from the water by gradually cooling the ceramic powder and the water obtained in the step of dissolving; and firing a mixture of the ceramic powder obtained in the step of depositing with an additive at a high temperature to subject the deposited material and the additive to solid phase reaction to form a shell portion on and around the core portion of the ceramic powder. The process can produce the ceramic powder having a core-shell structure from a crystalline ceramic powder, thereby achieving high electrical and mechanical features when formed into ceramic electronic parts. On the other hand, conventional ceramic electronic parts produced from highly crystalline ceramic powder raise the manufacturing cost because such ceramic powder is low in reactivity so that it requires high firing temperature. Ceramic powder in a core-shell structure produced from low-crystalline ceramic powder results to conventional ceramic electronic parts which are poor in electrical and mechanical characteristics.

摘要: An X-ray mask structure for X-ray lithography comprises a pattern, an X-ray transmissive film for holding the pattern, and a frame for supporting the X-ray transmissive film, wherein a light-scattering prevention film is formed on at least a part of the surface of the X-ray transmissive film and/or of the pattern, and the light scattering prevention film may be a flat coating film formed on at least one of the top face and the back face of the X-ray transmissive film and having a refractive index substantially equal to the refractive index of the X-ray transmissive film. A process for producing the X-ray mask structure comprises steps of forming a flat coating film having a refractive index substantially the same as that of the X-ray transmissive film on at least one of the top face and the back face of the X-ray transmissive film, and forming a pattern at least on the top face of the X-ray transmissive film. An X-ray exposure apparatus comprises an X-ray source, and the X-ray mask structure, and conducts transcription of the pattern formed on the x-ray mask structure onto a transcription-receiving member by projecting X-rays through the X-ray mask structure to the transcription receiving member.

摘要: A white balance control device is provided for use in a video camera or a still video camera in which white balance control signals are controlled so that an object may be photographed without the occurrence of color failure. A microcomputer of the white balance control device detects a difference between integral averaged values for two color difference signals R-Y and B-Y and a reference value. Depending on the difference, values of the white balance control signals Rcont and Bcont may be changed when the brightness of an object is changed by more than a predetermined amount. However, the values are positioned within a variable region and when the values of the white balance control signals Rcont and Bcont become constant, the variable region is renewed.

摘要: A chroma adjusting method for use in an automatic white balance adjusting method to control the gains of red and blue signals in accordance with signals obtained by photographing an object. In the chroma adjusting method, the chroma information that corresponds to the ratio of high-chroma colors in the entire screen can be found in accordance with signals obtained by photographing an object. The gain of a chroma signal is controlled such that the gain of the chroma signal can be increased as the chroma information is decreased. When there are present many low-chroma colors, the chroma level of the chroma signal can be raised.
