Stick-shaped solid cosmetic 10 comprises a wax with a melting point of 45° C. or higher and liquid oil, wherein the hardness of top portion 16 is 0.07 N to 0.38 N and the hardness of boundary portion 20, which is a border between a retained portion in inner holder 12 and a portion outside of the inner holder 12, is 0.03 N to 0.31 N higher than the hardness of the top portion, and wherein the hardness gradually increases from the top portion 16 to the boundary portion 20. Thus, the stick-shaped solid cosmetic 10 has smooth spreadability and excellent product strength.
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to dampen operating sounds of an electromagnetic drive mechanism used for a variable displacement control mechanism in a high-pressure fuel supply pump to reduce an individual difference depending on apparatus due to the change over time or installation tolerance.To achieve the above objective, the present invention is configured such that before the electromagnetic drive mechanism supplies a drive force to a plunger which is electromagnetically driven by the electromagnetic drive mechanism, another displacement force situates the plunger in a specific position. When compared to an occasion where the plunger is displaced all strokes by a magnetic biasing force, the above configuration is able to reduce the force of impact on a member (for example, valve body) mounted to the plunger and a restricting member, thereby damping the collision noise. Furthermore, since an extra member, such as a damping member, is not required, individual difference depending on apparatus do not easily occur.

A fuel feed system capable of feeding a fuel to fuel injection valves at a fuel pressure with improved stability is provided. A fuel feed system for an internal combustion engine including a fuel tank and a low-pressure pump for feeding the fuel in the fuel tank to fuel injection valves, is provided with a diaphragm type damper having a wave-shape cross section at a position in contact with the fuel. Also, in a high-pressure fuel feed pump including a pressurizing chamber for pressurizing the fuel, a plunger for pumping the fuel within the pressurizing chamber, an intake valve provided at a fuel inlet of the pressurizing chamber, a discharge valve provided at a fuel outlet of the pressurizing chamber, and a low-pressure chamber provided in an upstream of the intake valve, a mechanism for reducing fuel pressure pulsation is disposed in a space of the low-pressure chamber provided in the upstream of the intake valve, and a fuel pressure sensor for measuring the fuel pressure is mounted near the mechanism for reducing fuel pressure pulsation.

A simple structured high-pressure fuel pump.A fuel pump comprises a reciprocably-supported cylinder, a pressurizing chamber using part of the outer surface of the cylinder as the wall surface which move to change the internal volume, a fuel intake passage forming a fuel passage which introduces fuel to the pressurizing chamber, a fuel discharge passage for the compressed fuel coming out from the pressurizing chamber. A fuel intake valve is provided in fuel intake passage. A fuel discharge valve is provided in said fuel discharge passage. A connecting passage connects upstream side of the intake valve in the fuel intake passage and the downstream side of it. A check valve which flows fuel from the fuel discharge flow passage to the fuel intake passage is provided in the connecting passage.

A mobile radio communication system for communicating between a base station and a mobile station by means of frames, each frame including a header and data. The mobile station includes a transmission number provider which provides a first transmission number to a first frame to be transmitted to the base station, and a transmission number extractor which extracts the first transmission number indicated in a header pattern of a second frame transmitted by the base station. The base station includes a reception number detector which detects the first transmission number included in the first frame transmitted by the mobile station, and a header provider which provides a header pattern corresponding to the first transmission number of the second frame. The mobile station retransmits the first frame when the mobile station does not receive the first transmission number indicated in the header pattern of the second frame.

A decoder which is adapted to receive a frame of coded data consisting of multiple slots including intra-frame position information indicating positions of the slots in the frame to decode the coded data, and which adaptively applies appropriate ones of plural error control methods depending on the position of the slots in the frame. An estimated value of the intra-frame position information of a current slot and a fixed amount of variation per slot of the intra-frame position information are generated in accordance with an estimated value of the intra-frame position information of an immediately preceding slot. Synchronization is established between a received value and the estimated value of the intra-frame position information. An error control method to be applied to the current slot in the synchronous state of the received value and the estimated value is determined in response to the estimated value of the intra-frame position information of the current slot generated. The decoder can achieve error control of received data correctly even if an error occurs with the received value of the intra-frame position information.

A convolutional code having identical initial and final states is decoded by using the Viterbi algorithm to trace a path starting from a first state and ending at a second state. If necessary, the trace is repeated, starting from the second state, provided the second state is not the same as the first state. The output result is then obtained from the second trace.
Abstract:
A discriminating circuit stores a flag designating a received radio signal as belonging to a traffic channel, a control channel, or an unidentified channel. If the flag does not indicate the traffic channel, the discriminating circuit decodes the signal and detects errors on the assumption that the signal belongs to the control channel. The detected errors include convolutional code errors, which are detected by re-encoding the decoded signal, as well as errors in other types of codes. If the flag indicates that the channel is unidentified, a counter is incremented according to the paucity or absence of errors. When the counter reaches a threshold value, the flag is set to indicate the control channel.
