    摘要: Display device based on layer break up or layer displacement having at least two different states, in which one of the fluids (5) e.g oil in a first state adjoins at least a first support plate (3) and in the second state the other fluid (6) at least partly adjoins the first support plate. In one embodiment a picture element corresponds to a substantially closed space and in the first state the other fluid layer substantially completely adjoins both support plates and is divided in two sub-layers. This makes it possible on the one hand to use lower voltages to make displacement occur. On the other hand this opens the opportunity to color displays.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus (100) for the enrichment of magnetic particles (1) in a sample fluid. The sample fluid is provided in a sample cartridge (2) between a first pole (111) and a second pole (112) of an actuator magnet (110). A minimal magnetic flux as well as a minimal magnetic gradient are then established inside the sample fluid, wherein their values depend on the particular magnetic particles (1) and the sample fluid under consideration. In a preferred embodiment, the first pole (111) has a single tip (T).

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and a sensor device (100) for the detection of clusters (C) of magnetic particles (MP) in a sample volume (111), particularly of clusters (C) consisting of two magnetic particles (MP) with different binding sites that are bound to a target molecule in a sandwich configuration. Output light (L2) originating from an interaction of input light (L1) with clusters (C) of magnetic particles (MP) is detected. Moreover, the magnetic particles (MP, C) are actuated by a magnetic actuation field (B), wherein said actuation is at least once interrupted by a pause. In this way a high output signal can be achieved that properly reflects the amount of specifically bound clusters (C).
