    摘要: A gas turbine engine control method and apparatus as disclosed for optimizing fuel/air mixture, especially during decreasing load conditions. In a large capacity gas turbine engine system used for generation of electric power, the system is designed to operate at a relatively constant rotational speed of the turbine which drives an electric generator unit. The load of the turbine engine varies throughout the day due to changes in electrical power demands. During normal rated load conditions, the control of the fuel/air mixture is by way of changes in fuel supply, corrected to return the turbine exhaust temperature to a desired rated temperature. During this mode of operation, the compressor inlet guide vanes are maintained in a substantially constant open position. For accommodating decreasing load conditions where the temperature drops below a predetermined temperature level below the rated temperature operation, the system is switched to an inlet guide vane control mode of operation. During the guide vane control mode of operation, the inlet guide vanes are controlled at a more precise temperature correction sensitivity than is the case for normal load operations. This more precise inlet guide vane control during decreasing load conditions assures improved fuel/air mixture during decreasing load and consequent improved efficiency and minimal NO.sub.x compound emissions, especially during changing ambient temperature conditions where cold air would otherwise increase the air supply.

The recess prevents formation of an oil film on the fitting surface between the water pump shaft and the pulley seat at the time of press fitting the pulley seat, and also allows the remaining oil on the fitting surface to flow into the recess.

    摘要: A nonvolatile semiconductor memory device includes a pulse signal generator for applying a pulse signal to a capacitor, a first diode connected at an anode to the capacitor, a charging circuit for charging the capacitor in a programming mode, a voltage limiter for preventing a potential at the output node from increasing above a predetermined level, memory cells of nonvolatile MOS transistors, a load MOS transistor connected to a high-voltage terminal, a row decoder for selecting a set of memory cells arranged in one row, column gate MOS transistors connected between respective sets of memory cells arranged in one column and the load MOS transistor, a data generator responsive to the voltage at the output node to turn on or off the load MOS transistor, and a column decoder responsive to the voltage at the output node to selectively energize the column gate MOS transistors. It further comprises a second diode connected between the cathode of the first diode and the output node, and a discharging circuit for discharging the cathode of the first diode to a reference voltage level during a time other than a programming mode.

    摘要: A plurality of thin flexible sheet ribs are secured to thin flexible sheet stringer members to form a distortable frame structure. One edge of the ribs lie in a curved surface such as a parabolic cylindrical surface. A thin sheet of boron-silicate glass, preferably formed with a second surface mirror, is annealed and then bent at room temperature to abut the edges of the ribs lying in the curved surface and is retained in place by ribs at opposite edges of the sheet. The inherent strength of the glass under stress, when bent, provides structural rigidity to the combined elements.

    摘要: A nickel cathode has a nickel oxide layer on its surfaces. A plurality of spaced apart grooves are in the nickel oxide layer and extend into the nickel. The cathode can be utilized in a water photolysis apparatus which also includes an N type photocatalytic semiconductor anode. Both the cathode and anode are in an aqueous basic electrolyte solution. The anode and cathode are electrically biased by a solar cell. The biasing potential of the solar cell raises the voltage potential of the cathode and lowers the Fermi level of the anode.
