摘要: A semiconductor memory device for handling video data comprises a column redundancy system for substituting erroneous bits. In one embodiment, the memory device comprises a memory cell array and a register for serial-parallel and/or parallel-serial conversion. There provide a redundant column section adjoined to the memory cell array and a redundant latch section functioning as a part of the register. The register includes a plurality of serially connected flipflops. Data are transferred in idle at the flipflop which is responded to a defective column of the memory cell array. In another embodiment, the memory device comprises a memory cell array and a read register to output data serially. Erroneous data of a defective column of the array are replaced by correlative data at the read register.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling the distribution of drive power in an all-wheel-drive motor vehicle which has main drive wheels, auxiliary drive wheels, and a drive power transmitting system for transmitting the drive power to the auxiliary drive wheels. The apparatus has a hydraulic pressure source, a hydraulic system, a hydraulic clutch disposed in the drive power transmitting system, which varies the drive power transmitted to the auxiliary drive wheels, depending on the hydraulic pressure supplied from the hydraulic pressure source to the hydraulic clutch through the hydraulic system, and a control system for controlling the ratio at which the drive power is distributed between the main and auxiliary drive wheels, through regulation of the hydraulic pressure supplied from the hydraulic pressure source to the hydraulic clutch. The apparatus further includes a failure detecting system for detecting a failure of the hydraulic system, and a hydraulic pressure lowering system for lowering the hydraulic pressure supplied from the hydraulic pressure source to the hydraulic clutch when a failure of the hydraulic system is detected by the failure detecting system.

摘要: A tray according to the present invention comprises a plastic body having upper and lower surfaces. A number of bottom sockets are distributively formed in the upper surface of the body so the respective bottom portions of bottles can be inserted individually in the bottom sockets. Each bottom socket has a configuration which is obtained by connecting those portions of the respective cross-sectional contours of the bottom portions of two or more different types of bottles which are situated outermost when the individual contours are superposed concentrically so that at least two diametrically facing regions of the one contour are not situated inside the other contour. Cap socket corresponding one of the bottom sockets is defined on the lower surface of the body. Each cap socket is a hole, such as a stepped hole, which has at least two hole portions with different inside diameters.

摘要: A solid state relay comprises a radiator, a control circuit block and a power circuit cartridge. The radiator has a base portion and a plurality of fins extending from the base portion. The control circuit block has a pair of input terminals and a pair of load terminals and is attached to a front surface of the base portion of the radiator. The power circuit cartridge includes therein a power semiconductor element which is turned on or off by a control circuit in the control circuit block, an absorber which is connected between the pair of load terminals, and a heat radiating plate to radiate heat of the power semiconductor element. The power circuit cartridge is detachably attached to the control circuit block so as to be electrically connected thereto. A through space is formed in the control circuit block so as to pierce from a front surface of the control circuit block to the front surface of the base portion of the radiator. The power circuit cartridge is inserted into the through space. The heat radiating plate of the power circuit cartridge is joined to a portion of the base portion front surface of the radiator.

摘要: There is provided a multi-functional spectrophotometer allowing various measurements in which a stigmatic concave grating is employed for selecting the wavelength of the measuring light. A number of miniature type detectors are employed for detecting the diffracted light from the concave grating. Cells containing samples to be measured can be positioned either adjacent to inlet slits at the side of a light source or behind exit slits. These positions of the cells can be easily changed over one with the other. In the former position, absorbances (concentrations) of sample components for a plurality of predetermined light wavelengths can be simultaneously measured. In the later position, not only the absorbance characteristic curve of the sample can be determined, but also the absorbance, fluorescence and turbidity of the sample for a give wavelength can be measured.

摘要: Provided is a process for producing a liquid ejection head including an ejection orifice member having a plurality of ejection orifices for ejecting liquid provided along an arrangement direction, the process including preparing a substrate provided with a resin layer which contains a photocurable resin; carrying out a first exposure treatment and a second exposure treatment which are each of an exposure treatment of subjecting the resin layer to exposure; and forming the ejection orifices of the resin layer subjected to the first exposure treatment and the second exposure treatment. An inclination angle of a side wall of the ejection orifices formed by the first exposure treatment with respect to the substrate differs from an inclination angle of a side wall of the ejection orifices formed by the second exposure treatment with respect to the substrate.
