摘要: The inventive optical analysis technique uses an optical system capable of detecting light from a micro region in a solution, such as an optical system of a confocal microscope or a multiphoton microscope, to detect the light from the light-emitting particle to be observed while moving the position of the micro region in the sample solution (while scanning the inside of the sample solution with the micro region); generates time series light intensity data, and after smoothing the time series light intensity data; and detects in the smoothed time series light intensity data the light-emitting particle crossing the inside of the micro region individually, thereby enabling the counting of the light-emitting particle(s) or the acquisition of the information on the concentration or number density of the light-emitting particle.

摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a method and a system for manufacturing a liquid crystal panel, which allow more successful bonding of an optical film to a liquid crystal cell. A pressing force Fa per unit area applied when the optical film is pressed by the first roller and a pressing force Fb per unit area applied when the liquid crystal cell is pressed by the second roller satisfy the relation Fa>Fb. On the first roller side, the feed may fail to be stabilized due to the influence of tension fluctuations or vibration acting on the first optical film, so that air bubbles may occur. When the second roller side, where such an influence does not occur, contributes more to the feed of the liquid crystal cell, the liquid crystal cell can be successfully fed in the process of bonding the optical film thereto.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for fabricating an optical film, comprising a treatment step comprising: continuously feeding a film, while holding both transverse end portions of the film; and bringing a lower surface of the film into contact with a surface of a treatment liquid with which a treatment tank is filled, while continuously feeding the film. The method for fabricating a polarizing film in which bringing a liquid into contact with a film and transversely stretching the polymer film by a tenter method or the like can be performed at the same time using a small and simple fabricating apparatus.

摘要: An electric machine incorporates a brush assembly that provides an audible warning when the brush in the brush assembly approaches the end of its useable length. The brush incorporates a device incorporated into the brush or a brush design which cooperates with the brush holder to generate the noise. The noise provides a warning to the user of the electric machine that the useable length of the brush material is near.
