Abstract: A novel heterocyclic compound is provided. In particular, a novel heterocyclic compound which can improve the element characteristics of the light-emitting element is provided. The heterocyclic compound is represented by a general formula (G1) DBqAr1nAr2-A (G1) in which a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzo[f,h]quinoxalinyl group and a substituted or unsubstituted benzobisbenzofuranyl group are bonded to each other via a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group. In the general formula (G1), DBq represents a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzo[f,h]quinoxalinyl group, Ar1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 13 carbon atoms, n represents 0 or 1, Ar2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 13 carbon atoms, and A represents a substituted or unsubstituted benzobisbenzofuranyl group. When the arylene group represented by Ar1 and Ar2 has substituents, the substituents may be bonded to each other to form a ring.

Abstract: Emission efficiency of a light-emitting element is improved. The light-emitting element has a pair of electrodes and an EL layer between the pair of electrodes. The EL layer includes a first light-emitting layer and a second light-emitting layer. The first light-emitting layer includes a fluorescent material and a host material. The second light-emitting layer includes a phosphorescent material, a first organic compound, and a second organic compound. An emission spectrum of the second light-emitting layer has a peak in a yellow wavelength region. The first organic compound and the second organic compound form an exciplex.

Abstract: An object is to provide a light-emitting element which uses a plurality of kinds of light-emitting dopants and has high emission efficiency. In one embodiment of the present invention, a light-emitting device, a light-emitting module, a light-emitting display device, an electronic device, and a lighting device each having reduced power consumption by using the above light-emitting element are provided. Attention is paid to Förster mechanism, which is one of mechanisms of intermolecular energy transfer. Efficient energy transfer by Förster mechanism is achieved by making an emission wavelength of a molecule which donates energy overlap with a local maximum peak on the longest wavelength side of a graph obtained by multiplying an absorption spectrum of a molecule which receives energy by a wavelength raised to the fourth power.

Abstract: A material that can be used in a wide temperature range and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A graphene compound has a substituted or unsubstituted chain group. The chain group has one or more ester groups or carboxyl groups and contains a Si atom. The chain group is bonded to a graphene layer through the Si atom. A method for forming a graphene compound includes a step of stirring graphene oxide and a Lewis base and a step of mixing a silicon compound having one or more ester groups or carboxyl groups into the mixed solution and stirring the obtained mixed solution. The Lewis base is butylamine, pentylamine, hexylamine, diethylamine, dipropylamine, dibutylamine, triethylamine, tripropylamine, or pyridine.

Abstract: A light-emitting element with high luminous efficiency is provided. The light-emitting element contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The first and second organic compounds form an exciplex. The first organic compound emits no fluorescence but phosphorescence at a temperature ranging from low temperature to normal temperature. The luminescence quantum yield of the first organic compound is higher than or equal to 0% and lower than or equal to 40% at room temperature. Light emitted from the light-emitting element includes light emitted from an exciplex formed by the first organic compound and the second organic compound.

Abstract: Objects of the present invention are to provide: a light-emitting element having a long lifetime and good emission efficiency and drive voltage. One embodiment of the invention is a light-emitting element including, between an anode and a cathode, at least a stack structure in which a first layer, a second layer, and a light-emitting layer are provided in order from the anode side. The first layer includes a first organic compound and an electron-accepting compound. The second layer includes a second organic compound having a HOMO level differing from the HOMO level of the first organic compound by from −0.2 eV to +0.2 eV. The light-emitting layer includes a third organic compound having a HOMO level differing from the HOMO level of the second organic compound by from −0.2 eV to +0.2 eV and a light-emitting substance having a hole-trapping property with respect to the third organic compound.
