摘要: A light-emitting device with improved optical efficiency is disclosed. A semiconductor substrate underlies active p-n junction layers, and has an internal scattering/reflecting surface near the bottom surface of the semiconductor substrate. Accordingly, the light originated at the active p-n junction layers is internally reflected from the internally curved reflecting surface, and substantially passes though the top surface of the semiconductor substrate.

摘要: An adapter to convert a traditional gas meter into a computerized gas meter is disclosed. The adapter of this invention comprises a microcomputer gas flow signal converting module, a gas flow monitoring module, a gas pressure monitoring module, an earthquake sensing module and a gas supply shutoff mechanism, and a casing to enclose the modules and to affixed to said traditional gas meter. The microcomputer gas flow rate signal converting module senses the movement of diaphragm of the traditional gas meter and converts the gas flow rate into computerized signals. The gas flow monitoring module and the gas pressure monitoring module monitor the gas flow rate and the gas pressure, and generate warning signals when abnormal phenomena are sensed. The earthquake sensing module senses strong earthquakes according to vertical vibration waves and horizontal vibration waves of said earthquake. The gas supply shutoff mechanism stops movements of diaphragm in order to stop gas supply when a warning signal is generated by said gas flow monitoring module, said gas pressure monitoring module or said earthquake sensing module.

摘要: A slot antenna is provided which includes first and second oppositely disposed metallic plates with a dielectric layer disposed therebetween. An array of horizontal and vertical radiating elements are formed on the first metallic plate. An array of horizontal coupling slots and an array of vertical coupling slots are formed in the second metallic plate. The antenna further includes first and second beam formers for providing a necessary field of view beam coverage. The array of horizontal coupling slots are operatively coupled to the first beam former and the array of vertical coupling slots are operatively coupled to the second beam former. Accordingly, the slot antenna may operate to transmit and receive linearly polarized energy. The antenna may further include a polarizer disposed above the upper metallic plate for converting between linear and circular polarization so as to allow for antenna operation with single or dual circular polarization energy.

摘要: An apparatus for making high-oxygenated water includes an oxygen supply, an exchange tank, and a pressure tank. The oxygen supply respectively supplies pure oxygen to the exchange tank and the pressure tank. The pure oxygen is dissolved in water in the exchange tank in a normal pressure environment to obtain oxygenated water. A slow-down unit is provided in the exchange tank to extend the time of the pure oxygen staying in the exchange to raise the dissolved oxygen of the oxygenated water. Next, the oxygenated water is drained to the pressure tank, and then the pure oxygen is dissolved in the oxygenated water in the exchange tank in a high pressure environment to obtain high-oxygenated water.
