摘要: This invention provides an image processing apparatus which simplifies the circuit arrangement required for edge emphasis correction. For this purpose, the apparatus has a first color conversion unit (102) for color-separating input image data into lightness data and chromaticity data, a delay unit (103) for delaying the separated lightness data by N lines, and delaying the chromaticity data by N/2 lines, an image edge amount extraction unit (113) for extracting an image edge portion from the lightness data, a saturation amount extraction unit (114) for extracting the saturation component from the chromaticity data, and an image edge emphasis amount distribution unit (116) for distributing the emphasis amount of the edge portion to an edge emphasis unit (104) so that the distribution ratio for chromaticity correction is higher than that for lightness correction when the saturation component extracted by the saturation extraction unit (114) is large, and the distribution ratio for lightness correction is higher than that for chromaticity correction when the saturation component extracted by the saturation extraction unit (114) is small.

摘要: A strain detector where water does not reach a strain-resistance element and which supplies stable output at all times is provided. In the strain detector, a first protective layer made of glass is disposed to cover an insulating substrate and the strain-resistance element. A second protective layer made of resins or glass for covering the first protective layer, and a thermistor for compensating the resistance of the strain-resistance element are disposed.

摘要: The present invention aims to solve problems involved in the formation of a conductive or insulating layer in a pattern form by photolithography, i.e., an environmental problem associated with handling a solvent and a problem associated with wastewater treatment in the development with an aqueous alkaline solution. A method for forming a conductive layer (an anode bus 3) or an insulating layer (a barrier 1) on a glass substrate by photolithography using a photosensitive slurry solution prepared by mixing a low-melting glass powder as a binder and a conductive or insulating powder into a PVA-based, water-soluble photosensitive solution, wherein the content of B.sub.2 O.sub.3 component in the whole low-melting glass powder is closely regulated to not more than 6% by weight. This enables coating without gelation of PVA. Unlike the conventional photolithography using a solvent type photosensitive slurry, the method of the present invention can solve the environmental problem associated with handling a solvent and the problem associated with wastewater treatment in the development with an aqueous alkaline solution.

摘要: A color image reading system in which an input color image signal is converted into color data signals. The color data signals are indicative of a combination of data of reference stimuli represented by verticles of a triangle of which one side circumscribe a pure purple locus, and of which the remaining two sides circumscribers two points of a spectral locus of a color degree diagram, the two points representing substantially middle colors between a color represented by one vertex of the triangle at which the remaining two sides intersect and each of two colors represented by the remaining two sides of the triangle, respectively. The input color image signal is reproduced on a color image output device in response to the provision of the color data signals.

摘要: A vibration damping control apparatus is mounted on a hybrid vehicle provided with an engine and a motor generator coupled with the engine. The vibration damping control apparatus (i) calculates pulsating torque of the engine and inertia torque of the engine, (ii) sets, as consumption torque, a value obtained by subtracting the inertia torque from the pulsating torque, (iii) sets, as shaft torque of an output shaft of the engine, a value obtained by subtracting the consumption torque from base torque of the motor generator, (iv) calculates vibration damping torque which is torque for suppressing a variation in the shaft, and (v) controls the motor generator such that torque outputted from the motor generator is a sum of the base torque and the vibration damping torque.
