A calibration jig for a component recognition device and a component recognition calibration method using the jig which can stabilize the mounting accuracy of a component to a to-be-mounted object and improve amount quality. An opening is formed at a to-be-picked up face of the calibration jig. A predetermined position of the calibration jig is recognized on the basis of the contrast between the picked-up face and the opening. The position of the calibration jig can be recognized with higher accuracy, so that a resolution of the component recognition device, etc. can be obtained with a higher degree of accuracy. Mount accuracy of the component to the object is thus stabilized and mount quality is improved.

A turntable is a table mounted to a shaft (4) of a spindle motor and the turntable supports a laminated disc thereon and drives the disc in rotation. The laminated disc includes a lower disc and an upper disc stacked on the lower disc, and is supported on a disc-supporting surface. When the disc is loaded on the turntable, a fitting member fits into the center hole of the laminated disc for centering the laminated disc with respect to the shaft. The fitting member fits the center hole of the lower disc when the laminated disc is supported on said disc-supporting surface. The turntable may include a tapered member which guides the laminated disc to the disc-supporting surface. The laminated disc includes lower and upper discs each having an edge which defines the center hole. The corners of the edges are cut away along a circumference of the center hole. The upper and lower discs are placed together so that the cut-away corner directly face each other.

Each suspension system is associated with means for adjusting damping characteristics according to a suspension control command. Each suspension control system also includes a sensor means for monitoring an inertia force exerted on the vehicular body, which inertia force affects for vehicular attitude to cause a vehicular attitude change. A control unit receives the output of the sensor means and derives a suspension control command for regulating vehicular height and vehicular attitude. The control unit is designed to detect a predetermined particular vehicle driving condition on the basis of the sensor output for deriving the suspension control command for adjusting vehicular height to a lower level than a normal height level.
