The detection unit includes a first connection unit to be used to connect the control unit when used portably, and a second connection unit to be used to connect the control unit when stationarily used on a support portion. The detection unit detects which one of the first connection unit and the second connection unit is used to connect the control unit, and determines a shooting operation based on the detection result.
