    摘要: The ignition timing of an engine is changed by a predetermined value to cause fluctuations in torque to an output shaft of the engine. Vibrations caused by the fluctuations in torque to an engine block are detected and the ignition timing is controlled so that the vibrations can be reduced to the minimum. Thus, the ignition timing of the engine can be controlled to the optimum condition so that the engine can be operated at the highest condition at all times.

    摘要: A spark timing control device for use in an internal combustion engine, which includes a pressure control valve wherein when an input vacuum is not higher than a given vacuum level, an output vaccum remains at a zero level, and when the input vacuum is not lower than the given level, the output vacuum will be a product of a proportional constant and the difference between the input vacuum and the aforesaid given vacuum level; a pressure source; and a vacuum advance control mechanism. The pressure source is connected to the input side of the pressure control valve, while the output side of the pressure control valve is connected to the vacuum advance control mechanism.Various modifications of the pressure control valve employable in the spark timing control device are also presented.

    摘要: An optical module includes first and second fiber units that hold end portions of first and second optical fibers, and first and second collimators disposed between these fiber units and having first and second lenses, respectively. End faces of the first and second optical fibers are disposed on imaginary circumferences on the end faces of the first and second fiber units. Laser light beams from the end face of the first optical fiber are collimated by the first lens and then focused by the second lens, and enter the end face of the second optical fiber that is disposed diametrically opposite to the first optical fiber with respect to the center axis of the optical module.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a ferrule having butt end face on the front and positioning holes on both sides in the width direction and formed with plurality of fiber holes for inserting optical fibers, arranged in such a manner as to be inclined in the thickness direction, by using at least two molds which are arranged in an opposed manner and either or both of which can be moved in the opening/closing direction. Each of at least two molds has a first forming wall for forming the butt end face and a second forming wall for forming a working portion for applying a pressing force perpendicular to the butt end face at the rear of the ferrule. A core for forming the fiber hole and molding pins for forming the positioning holes are arranged in parallel and held in such a manner as to be inclined at a predetermined angle .theta. in the thickness direction of the ferrule molded by at least two molds.

    摘要: Disclosed is an optical switching connector including a ferrule plate, which fixes an end of an optical fiber to a predetermined position, has pin grooves formed in parallel at its both ends, and has at least one of its pin grooves formed to a width enabling horizontal movement of a reference pin, pin holding members which position the reference pin in said pin grooves, and a frame body which houses said ferrule plate and pin holding members. The optical switching connector is characterized in that the pin holding members are provided individually for each pin groove and provision is made at the both sides of the pin grooves of members for pressing the pin holding members corresponding to the pin grooves where the reference pins can move horizontally to the ferrule plate.

    摘要: An N-phase electric machine, N being an integer ≥3, includes a housing; i×N stator windings arranged in a fixed manner in the housing, i being an integer ≥2; and a rotatable rotor surrounded by the i×N stator windings in the housing. The stator windings are consecutively divided into i subgroups in a circumferential direction, each subgroup having N stator windings. The electric machine further comprises i current control modules and i temperature measurement devices, each current control module being correspondingly electrically connected to the N stator windings in one corresponding subgroup, so that when the stator windings in the i subgroups are supplied with power by the i current control modules, a rotating magnetic field is generated around the rotor. Each temperature measurement device is configured to measure the temperature of one corresponding subgroup in the i subgroups during operation of the electric machine.
