    摘要: A hydraulic and mechanical composite continuously variable transmission (HMT) is disclosed. The HMT includes a hydraulic continuously variable transmission (HST) and a mechanical speed change mechanism using a group of planetary gears as the differential part. The output rotation of the HST and the rotation of the input part of the mechanical speed change mechanism that receives power from the engine are transmitted to the differential part which translates the rotation to a speed change output shaft. The speed change input part is formed at one end of a pump shaft and the differential input part is coaxially formed at the other end thereof. Further, the operator may manually set the speed ratio via electrical means on the mechanical speed chance mechanism.

    摘要: A first heat-sensitive microcapsule of the present invention comprises a shell wall and a liquid coloring composition, and has such a temperature-breaking characteristic that the shell wall is broken by heating to a temperature equal to or higher than a boiling point of the liquid coloring composition. The first heat-sensitive microcapsule is stable to light and easy to handle. A second heat-sensitive microcapsule of the present invention comprises a shell wall, a coloring composition and a heat decomposition-type gas-developing agent, and has such a temperature-breaking characteristic that the shell wall is broken by heating to a temperature equal to or higher than a decomposition temperature of the gas-developing agent. The second heat-sensitive microcapsule can be sensitively broken even by heating in a short time. A heat-sensitive recording medium comprising the first or second heat-sensitive microcapsule provides substantially no waste products after recording, is easy to handle, and capable of economically recording an image with ease.

    摘要: There is provided a recording/reproducing apparatus, e.g., digital video tape recorder, etc., applicable to a transmission system sufficiently utilizing communication capacity. The recording/reproducing apparatus comprises a recording element (e.g., rotary head) for recording, onto a recording medium (e.g., magnetic tape), time base compression processing implemented digital data delivered from the external, e.g., broadcasting station side, etc.; a control circuit for carrying out a control to read out the digital data from the recording medium at a speed lower than a recording speed in dependency upon the time base compression processing implemented to the digital data; and an output circuit for outputting, as a reproduced output, digital data which has been read out from the recording medium. In addition to the above-mentioned ordinary reproduction, in the case of carrying out fast-feed reproduction or rewinding reproduction, the control circuit carries out a control such that the magnetic tape runs at a higher speed, and the output circuit selects and outputs only valid digital data of digital data obtained by tracing of the rotary head.

    摘要: A magnetic head comprises a head base (56), and a pair of magnetic head chips (57, 58) of different azimuth angles (.theta..sub.1, .theta..sub.2) disposed on the head base (56). The pair of magnetic head chips (57, 58) are disposed in a stepped arrangement with respect to the direction of arrangement of tracks on a magnetic recording medium with a step (DA) substantially equal to the pitch (P) of tracks on the magnetic recording medium. The gap distance (GL) between the magnetic gaps of the magnetic head chips (57, 58) is shorter than the sum of the step (D) between adjacent tracks and the length (L) of interblock gap regions between video signal regions and audio signal regions arranged along the direction of the movement of the magnetic head. The magnetic head permits satisfactory audio signal after-recording and extended recording and reproducing of digital video signals on the magnetic recording medium even if the magnetic recording medium is a narrow magnetic tape of 8 mm or less in width.
