摘要: A noise-free speech synthesizer is disclosed which interrupts an audible output of synthesized sounds during the period of time where a sound waveform signal is at a relatively low level (amplitude), that is, a voiceless interval, a silent interval or a pitch control interval, wherein a reference level is established for the purpose of controlling pitch. Such low-level cut-off avoids the harsh click of sound cut-off.

摘要: A carbon film coating structure and a method for coating that structure onto a work are provided, in which a carbon material such as a carbon nanotube is applied to a work for coating thereof with high density and high integration so that the coating has an outstanding electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, heat resistance, high strength and flexibility owing to the characteristics of carbon, and in which a carbon such as CNT is applied to the work for coating thereof easily and inexpensively, and with high density and high integration. A carbon material is coated or impregnated on a surface layer of a work. The work can deposit a suboxide or oxide containing metal ions. A porous primary film is formed on the surface layer of the work. The carbon film is coated or impregnated on an irregular part of the surface layer of the primary film.

摘要: An input bit error ratio estimating method executed by a communication control unit includes a computing, a condition determining, a first input BER estimating, a second input BER estimating, a third input BER estimating, and an input BER estimation result outputting. In the condition determining, the communication control unit determines which of a plurality of conditions set in advance to be narrowed down to one has been established, based on a post-internal decoding residual error detection ratio. Based on the condition that is determined in the condition determining as one that has been established, the communication control unit selects one out of a plurality of processing procedures for estimating the input BER, namely, selects one of the first input BER estimating to the third input BER estimating and executes the selected processing.

摘要: A differential code optical transmission and reception device including: a digital signal processing optical transceiver that converts information data into an optical signal and transmits it to a communication channel, a reception front end part that receives the optical signal from the communication channel, an O/E conversion part that converts the optical signal received from the communication channel into an electrical signal, a skew correction part that regulates or correct a skew between lanes contained in the electrical signal, a differential decoder that decodes a differential code of the skew corrected electrical signal, and a lane exchange/rotation part that rearranges the electrical signal having passed through the differential decoder into a lane state thereof at the time of transmission in cases where lane exchange has occurred in the communication channel.

摘要: A jetting apparatus for fire extinguishing gas has a gas cylinder which is charged with pressurized fire extinguishing gas therein and onto an opening of which a sealing plate opening is attached. The jetting apparatus has a two part case that can receive the gas cylinder. The jetting apparatus has a seal breaking member that has a neb capable of breaking the sealing plate. The jetting apparatus has a seal breaking member holder that is attached the seal breaking member. The jetting apparatus has a mouth part of the gas cylinder that is attached detachably, and a cylinder holder that has a through hole movably housing the seal breaking member therein. The jetting apparatus has a seal breaking member holder and a cylinder holder that can relatively approach each other. The jetting apparatus has a jetting port that is provided on the outside of the apparatus and can communicate with the through hole. The jetting apparatus has a control valve that can intercept passages communicating the through hole with the jetting port and is provided in the passages.
