    摘要: The invention concerns a method and a device for determining an internal combustion engine phase. Said device comprises an intake zone, an exhaust zone, at least one camshaft which acts on the gas exchanging valves and whereof the phase can be adjusted relative to that of a crankshaft by means of a phase adjusting device, and at least one sensor whereof the measurement signal enables a specific phase to be determined. The phase adjusting device is controlled in accordance with phase adjustment of the camshaft until detection of a gas reflux from the exhaust zone to the intake zone. A correction value is determined based on the associated specific phase and on a specific allocated phase. In the next operating mode, the respectively specific phase is corrected based on the correction value.

    摘要: The invention relates to a waste gas probe which is disposed in an internal combustion engine, comprising a plurality of cylinders and injection valves associated with the cylinders, in order to measure fuel. The waste gas probe is arranged in a waste gas tract and the measuring signal thereof is characteristic for the air/fuel ratio in the respective cylinder. The measuring signal is detected in relation to a reference position of the piston of the respective cylinder at a predefined crankshaft angle and associated with a respective cylinder. A manipulated variable which is used to influence the air/fuel ration in the respective cylinder according to the measuring signal detected for the respective cylinder is produced by a controller. The predefined crankshaft angle is adapted according to an instability criterion of the controller.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine comprises an intake tract in which a throttle valve is disposed. The engine also comprises a camshaft which acts on gas inlet valves associated with respective cylinders. A phase-adjustment device is used to adjust a phase between the camshaft and a crankshaft. A desired air mass flow in a combustion chamber of the cylinder is determined depending on a charge requirement requested by the driver. The desired air mass flow is adjusted by varying the phase between the camshaft and the crankshaft if the desired air mass flow can be adjusted by varying the phase while substantially maintaining an actual pressure difference upstream and downstream of the throttle valve. Otherwise, the desired air mass flow is adjusted by varying the opening angle of the throttle valve.

    摘要: A method is described for thin film processing using a selected CMP slurry with a silicon dioxide stop layer. The slurry includes an abrasive, preferably alumina, a corrosion inhibitor, preferably benzotriazole (BTA), and an oxidizer preferably hydrogen peroxide. The method is particularly useful for fabricating thin film heads where alumina is used as the dielectric. The method can be used to planarize metal structures surrounded by alumina in magnetic heads. The alumina refill is deposited to the final target height which is slightly below the height of the metal. A thin silicon dioxide stop layer is deposited over the alumina. The CMP is executed using the selected slurry to planarize the wafer down to the stop layer. Preferably only a negligible amount of the stop layer remains and the height of the metal structure is essentially the same as the deposited height of the refilled alumina.

Said aim is achieved by inferring an adaptive value for the required fuel quantity from a characteristic curve in accordance with the temperature of the internal combustion engine and verifying during continuous lambda regulation whether predetermined adaptation conditions are met.
