Abstract:
A material conveying system without dust rising, having a plurality of trays; a transmission mechanism, for carrying the trays and transmitting the trays in motion; and a controller, for controlling the transmission mechanism, is characterized in that the material conveying system without dust rising further has a tank, which carries a liquid, where the transmission mechanism is immersed so that the dust resulting from abrasion of the transmission mechanism cannot float in the air.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for dynamically updating velocity dependent parameters during optical disc accessing are provided. A velocity estimator estimates a current velocity of a rotating disc. A storage unit stores a plurality set of parameters, each set corresponds to a preset velocity, and a register stores velocity dependent parameters that are currently used for data recording. A batch controller retrieves a set of parameters from the storage unit according to the current velocity estimated by the velocity estimator, and updates the velocity dependent parameter stored in the register using the parameters retrieved from the storage unit.

An inkjet print cartridge and a method of identifying the colors of ink contained therein by a color flexible PCB are disclosed. The inkjet cartridge includes a casing and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB). The casing has an ink reservoir for containing ink. The flexible PCB, disposed to the casing, includes a flexible substrate, a conductive trace, and a printing ink layer, wherein the flexible substrate has a first surface, and the conductive trace is formed thereon. The printing ink layer is formed on the first surface of the flexible substrate, and the first surface is partially covered by the printing ink layer to bare parts of the conductive trace. Also, at least one identifiable area is formed at the printing ink layer for identification, wherein the color of the identifiable area is associated with the color of ink in the ink reservoir.
Abstract:
An apparatus for measuring the amount of ink remaining in an ink tank using a sensing module and a detecting circuit is disclosed. The sensing module comprises a fixed device connected to the casing of the ink tank and a movable device connected to the bag. As the ink is ejected, the volume of the bag increases so that the movable device moves along with the bag. The detecting circuit, coupled with the sensing module, generates a corresponding detecting signal according to the variation in the relative position of the movable device and the fixed device, and the measurement of the ink amount is thus obtained.

A printhead cartridge mounts within a carriage of a printer. The carriage moves along a first direction within the printer. The printhead cartridge includes an inkwell for storing ink, which has a front surface and a bottom surface, a printhead mounted on the bottom surface, and a plurality of contacts for receiving signals from the printer and to provide the signals to the printhead. A centerline of the front surface, running perpendicular to the first direction, evenly defines first and second sides of the front surface. The contacts are disposed on the front surface, and a distribution of the contacts on the first side exceeds a corresponding distribution of the contacts on the second side.
Abstract:
An ink container having an ink reservoir for storing ink, a cover set above the ink reservoir for forming an ink adjusting room with a top portion of the ink reservoir, an ink outlet for providing ink within the ink reservoir, and an elastic deformation device set within the ink reservoir. The elastic deformation device is connected to the gap of the ink reservoir to accept external air into the elastic deformation device. When a pressure within the ink reservoir is lower than a pressure of external air, the external air flowing into the elastic deformation device of the ink container causes the elastic deformation device to expand. When the pressure within the ink reservoir is higher than the pressure of the external air, the elastic deformation device shrinks to have an outwardly overlapping wall with a folding shape in order to balance the pressure of the external air with the pressure of the ink reservoir.
Abstract:
A microinjector head with a driving circuit and the manufacturing method of the microinjector head are shown. The microinjector head uses a bubble as a virtual valve to eject fluid. The microinjector head has a manifold, chambers, a pair of first and second bubble generators, orifices, and a driving circuit. The driving circuit is used to control the pair of first and second bubble generating devices and eject fluid inside the corresponding chamber from the corresponding orifice. In addition, because the driving circuit and the bubble generators are integrated on a single substrate, the number of manufacturing processes is reduced and the circuit devices and connecting circuits of the. microinjector array are fewer.
Abstract:
A safety socket for avoiding danger of shock due to insertion of alien article into the insertion hole. The socket is disposed with three spaced partitioning boards defining three apartments. The partitioning boards are arranged according to the direction of the arrangement of the insertion holes of the socket. Three wedge-shaped insulative slide boards are disposed on the partitioning boards, which are left and right slidable within the apartments. Three short leaf springs and three sets of leaf spring seats are respectively disposed in the apartments. A leaf spring extends from each leaf spring seat to contact with a corresponding short leaf spring. The slide board is restricted to resiliently reciprocally slide within a slot formed on the leaf spring seat. By means of the leaf spring, when the plug is not inserted into the socket, the short leaf spring or the leaf spring always pushes the slide board in a direction reverse to the corresponding leaf spring, whereby the leaf spring is normally in an open state. Reversely, when the plug is inserted into the socket, each two corresponding leaf springs contact with each other into a powered on state. When an alien article is inserted into one insertion hole, the alien article will push the slide board on one side to move, whereby the insertion hole on the other side is powered on, while the insertion hole on the insertion side is not powered on so as to avoid danger of shock.
Abstract:
An automatic power control system, an automatic power control method, a down sampling circuit and a down sampling method. The automatic power control system is incorporated in an optical disc drive comprising a laser diode for receiving a control signal to generate a laser beam; and a photodetector for detecting the laser beam to generate an analog input signal. The automatic power control system comprises an analog-to-digital converter, a down sampling circuit, a comparator, and a digital-to-analog converter. The analog-to-digital converter converts the analog input signal to digital data. The down sampling circuit, coupled to the analog-to-digital converter, comprises a down sampler, a counter, and a controller. The down sampler receives a predetermined amount of digital data to generate representation data. The counter, coupled to the down sampler, calculates the amount of digital data, and resets the down sampler when the amount equals or exceeds the predetermined count. The controller, coupled to the counter, disables the counter when the digital data is invalid. The comparator, coupled to the down sampling circuit, compares the representation data with predetermined target data to generate error data. The digital-to-analog converter, coupled to the comparator, converts the error data to analog to generate the control signal.
