    摘要: A fire-extinguishing device for a wick ignition type oil burner adapted to discharge combustion gas to a room is disclosed which is capable of effectively removing bad odor generating materials contained in combustion gas produced during the fire-extinguishing operation to prevent the discharge of bad odor to a room. The fire-extinguishing device includes an actuation mechanism actuated with a wick actuating mechanism of an oil burner at the fire-extinguishing operation to lift a combustion cylinder construction of the oil burner and a combustion gas clarification mechanism which carries a catalyst thereon and is adapted to sealedly fit an upper portion of the lifted combustion cylinder construction therein so that combustion gas produced during the fire-extinguishing operation may be passed through the catalyst to remove, from the combustion gas, bad odor generating materials contained therein.

    摘要: A device for adjusting the vertical position of a wick in an oil burner is disclosed which is capable of keeping the lowermost position of the wick constant irrespective of the variably set uppermost position thereof. The device comprises a stopper forced by a spring against a gear fitted on a wick operating shaft, the gear being adapted to be rotated with the shaft to wind a return spring for the gear when the shaft is rotated to move the wick upwardly. A control member is fitted on the shaft and provided with a stopper actuating portion which moves the stopper against the spring means to release the engagement between the stopper and the gear. The control member is adapted to be engaged with the shaft and the gear at a desired position, and the shaft is reversed by the return spring when the stopper is moved to be disengaged from the gear.

    摘要: A combustion cylinder construction for an oil space heater of the type for radiating heat rays is disclosed which is capable of uniformly red-heating an outer surface of an outer cylindrical member of a double combustion cylinder and efficiently radiating heat rays from the red-hot outer surface and is capable of completely burning an incomplete combustion gas and the like at a flame spreader to form a white-yellow flame and efficiently radiating heat rays from the flame. The outer cylindrical member has through-holes larger than those of an inner cylindrical member and is provided at the upper portion thereof with a recess having through-holes. The combustion cylinder and flame spreader are surrounded by a single heat-permeable cylinder.

    摘要: A curvature estimation unit estimates the curvature of the road on which a vehicle is driving. A swivel angle setting unit is configured to perform a first mode in which a swivel angle of a lamp unit is set such that a light distribution pattern follows the travelling direction of the vehicle based on the curvature estimated by the curvature estimation unit, and perform a second mode in which a swivel angle of the lamp unit is set such that a shielded area created in a light distribution pattern follows the position of the vehicle detected by a vehicle position detector. A pattern determination unit determines a light distribution pattern such that the position of the vehicle detected by the vehicle position detector remains in the shielded area. A swivel angle setting unit performs the first mode when it is determined that the road is a curved road based on the curvature estimated by the curvature estimation unit, and performs the second mode when it is determined that the road is a straight road.

    摘要: A saddle-type vehicle has an engine-fastening structure which stabilizes a seating face contact between a collar and a vehicle body frame on one side, and between the collar and an engine on the other side. The vehicle includes a vehicle body frame having an engine-supporting portion, and an engine block having a female threaded portion formed therein for alignment with the engine-supporting portion. The collar is interposed between the engine-supporting portion and the engine block. The engine-supporting portion of the frame, the collar and the engine side female threaded portion are fastened together by a bolt. A gap is provided at least at locations between the collar and the bolt which oppose a boundary between the collar and the engine-supporting portion, and another boundary between the collar and the engine side female threaded portion.

The steering lock mechanism is disposed rearwardly with respect to a head pipe to lock and unlock a rotation of a steering system. The left and right frame members extend in a vehicle rearward direction from the head pipe. The steering lock mechanism is disposed between the left and right frame members. The steering lock mechanism is configured to cause a lock pin to carry out a stroke movement along a vehicle upward and downward direction. The steering lock mechanism is configured to cause the lock pin to be brought into and out of engagement with a top bridge of the steering system which is supported on the head pipe. Thereby, locking and unlocking of the rotation of the steering system are allowed.

    摘要: A combination of a liquid chromatograph and a gas chromatograph was a possible measure for improving precision in analyzing organic chemical substances. However, because elutes from liquid chromatoghaphies contain water and a highly polar solvent, injection thereof into a gas chromatograph has been impossible. Consequently, to develop an analytical method which realizes that combination and an apparatus thereof has been a subject. The method of the quantitative analysis comprises subjecting a sample for analysis prepared beforehand by extracting organic chemical substances from an assay sample to fractionation by a liquid chromatograph, continuously adsorbing a fractionated elute containing a substance to be determined onto a solid-phase cartridge while conducting the fractionation, eluting this substance, which has been adsorbed on the solid-phase cartridge, with an eluent, and transferring the elute to a storage chamber of a gas chromatograph.

    摘要: Provided is a key sheet allowing reliable sliding operation input through accurate coordinate position detection and depressing operation input of satisfactory depression operability through clear click feel. Fixation layers are formed at positions under depressing operation portions, and there are no fixation layers in portions around the depressing operation portions but gaps are formed. With this construction, it is possible to suppress a depression operation load to a low level at a time of depressing input operation, and, when contact switches with click feel are depressed, the click feel can be easily transmitted. Further, a surface sheet has movable contact portions which enter the gaps at a time of sliding input operation and which are displaced so as to be capable of coming into contact with a sensor sheet. With this construction, it is possible to sense, in a stable manner, capacitance at an in-plane position of a sliding operation surface of the sensor sheet.
