    摘要: The invention is an extruder temperature controller for an extruder barrel. The extruder temperature controller includes means for determining an actual screw speed and has means for storing a plurality of screw speeds. Each member of the plurality of stored screw speeds has a corresponding stored temperature reset value. The extruder temperature controller has a means for comparing and selecting that compares the actual screw speed to each of the plurality of stored screw speeds and selectes a default screw speed. The default screw speed has a smaller deviation from the actual screw speed than any other member of the compared, stored screw speeds. The controller further includes a means for generating a control output driver signal to the heat exchange means. The control output driver signal is the corresponding stored temperature reset value for the default screw speed. The invention further includes a means for delaying a control alarm for a predetermined time when the means for generating a control output driver signal to the heat exchange means operates at or near maximum capacity. The invention includes a method for controlling the temperature of an extruder barrel.

    摘要: Process for the continuous solvent-free and mastication-free production of self-adhesive compositions based on non-thermoplastic elastomers in a continuously operating apparatus having a filling section and a compounding section, comprising a) feeding the solid components of the self-adhesive composition, such as elastomers and resins, into the filling section of the apparatus, optionally feeding of fillers, colorants and/or crosslinkers, b) transferring the solid components of the self-adhesive composition from the filling section to the compounding section, c) adding the liquid components of the self-adhesive composition, such as plasticizers, crosslinkers and/or further tackifier resins to the compounding section, d) preparing a homogeneous self-adhesive composition in the compounding section, and e) discharging the self-adhesive composition, f) coating the self-adhesive composition on a web-form material, where the coating of the web-form material is carried out using a multi-roll applicator unit, preferably using a 2- to 5-roll applicator unit, particularly preferably using a 4-roll applicator unit, so that the self-adhesive composition is shaped to the desired thickness as it passes through one or more roll nips, and where the rolls of the applicator unit can be individually set to temperatures from 20° C. to 150° C.

    摘要: The invention comprises a plasticating machine for the working and forcing of plastic material into a mold, said machine including an elongated housing having a first or proximal end and a second or distal end and an elongated screw shaft with a screw flight therearound, the screw shaft being rotatably supported in the elongated housing, for the working of plastic between the screw shaft and the elongated housing. At least one pair of coaxial spaced apart delivery conduits are generally longitudinally arranged through the screw shaft, from a proximal end to a distal tip end thereof. A tubular mesh generating apparatus is arranged at the distal end of the coaxially conduits to generate/weave and feed a tubular reinforcement mesh along the length of the annular delivery channel to a plastic melt at its distalmost end. A movable forming tool is supported adjacent the distal end of the innermost conduit of the coaxial conduits. The mesh is arranged to be movable with respect to the screw shaft and over the forming tool, to engage any thermoplastic material being driven from between the screw shaft and the barrel housing to form a reinforced tubular product such as a pipe or tube, as it is driven through a die at the distal end of the machine.

    摘要: A method for the manufacture of shaped bodies by extrusion moulding of plastic-filler mixtures with filler contents of more than 50% by volume, preferably from 65 to 90% by volume, by means of an extruder with a conveying input zone. The method is restricted to use of fillers having good thermal conductivity. For carrying out the method, initially a mixture is manufactured from molten or fluid synthetic resin and the filler and this is ground and graded after cooling. Afterwards, there is extrusion of the ground mixture or of fractions separated from this and graded. According to a preferred variant of the method, an extruder is used for the extruding having a conveying input zone whose extrusion part consists merely of an input zone and an output zone. According to a further variant of the method, plates are manufactured by cutting up lengthwise a tubular extrusion emerging from the mouthpiece in the extruding and the casing of the extrudate thus obtained is bent flat and this extrudate is then cut up into plate lengths.
