Abstract: Devices are taught for filling a tire with air, gas or a liquid and repairing the tire. In one embodiment, the tire repair tool discloses an transmittal control section, with the transmittal control section comprising a proximal end, the proximal end having an opening a distal end, with the distal end having a centralized opening to align with a punctureable seal at a proximal end of a gas cartridge; a passageway positioned between the proximal end of the gas cartridge and the distal end; and a puncture tool which can puncture the punctureable seal of the gas cartridge. The puncture tool is positioned at the distal end of the transmittal control section along the air passage way. An insertion tube comprises an air inlet at a distal end of the insertion tube which is connected to the opening of the proximal end of the transmittal control section. A gas outlet passes air from a gas cartridge through the air passage way through the transmittal control section into the air inlet of the insertion tube and through the gas outlet.

Abstract: Tire assembly for a bicycle rim, including a wheel tire with a tread surface and two tire beads, an inner tire disposed within the wheel tire, a tube disposed within the inner tire, and a valve arrangement for filling the tube and an intermediate space between the rim and the wheel tire with different air pressures. The inner tire in the filled and mounted condition bears on the tire beads of the wheel tire and presses the beads against the rim. The inner tire has a first through opening which in the mounted condition communicates with the intermediate space, and an insert part disposed between the rim and the tube and between the tube and the inner tire. Abstract: A method of assembling an air pump in a tire is provided including: opening an axial air passageway of an elongate flexible air tube at one end; inserting one by one a plurality of one-way check valves into the air passageway from the one end to form an axial array of spaced apart check valves along the air passageway, each check valve having an external nominal width greater than a nominal width of the air tube passageway; establishing a press fit engagement between each check valve and air tube internal sidewalls defining the air passageway to place each check valve at a respective preferred position within the air passageway; retaining the check valves in the respective preferred positions within the air passageway by radial pressure from the air tube internal sidewalls and closing the one end of the flexible air tube.
