Abstract: A valve assembly is configured to secure on a hole of a rim on which a tire having at least two air chambers is mounted. The valve assembly includes a main body, a securing means, at least two valve bodies and at least two valves. The main body includes at least two transfer air passage respectively connected to each of the air chambers. The securing means is configured to secure the main body and also the at least two valve bodies on the rim. The at least two valve bodies are respectively disposed on the main body and each of the at least two valve bodies has an inlet air passage connected to one of the transfer air passages of the main body. The at least two valves are respectively attached to each of the at least two valve bodies.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an explosion-proof tire, comprising a safety airbag, trigger sensors and a safety switch, wherein the safety airbag is arranged between a tire and a hub; the hub is provided with grooves; trigger devices of the safety airbag are arranged in the grooves; one end of each trigger sensor sticks into the tire; and the other end thereof is connected with a trigger device. The safety switch is arranged on the valve stem of the tire; and positive and negative electrodes on the valve stem are each connected with a trigger device.The safety switch disclosed by the present invention ensures that the safety airbag will not be triggered accidentally, and when a vehicle tire bursts, the safety airbag provided can instantly provide enough support force to ensure traffic safety.

Abstract: Tire assemblies are disclosed. In one embodiment a tire insert assembly includes an elastomeric tire insert constructed to be received within a tire, the tire having sidewalls and a tread portion. An upper crown surface of the tire insert and a lower surface of the tire define an outer chamber and the tire insert defines an inner chamber. The tire insert may be configured to support a substantial portion of the sidewall of the tire when the inner chamber is inflated.

Abstract: A tire assembly for a road vehicle is provided. The assembly includes a tire and first and second expandable chambers positioned within the tire. A series of actuators for selectively pumping air to the first and second chambers is provided, wherein the assembly includes a third chamber arranged between the first and second chambers. Two tire halves 17A formed from a first thermoplastic material are supported by a tire supporting section 40 so as to be aligned with each other and abutting, while rotating this configuration melted welding thermoplastic material 43 is extruded from a nozzle 46 towards the joining location, and the welding thermoplastic material 43 is pressed by a flattening roller 48. The one tire half 17A and the other tire half 17A are thereby welded together with the welding thermoplastic material 43. Since the tire halves 17A themselves are not melted, deterioration of the thermoplastic material forming the tire halves 17A is suppressed, and sufficient strength of the joint portion is secured.
