摘要： A method of filling a mould with a settable material, such as a cementitious mixture, is disclosed. The mould includes a plurality of cavities that open to a top face of the mould, and is suitable for forming building elements, such as pavers, for covering surfaces. The method includes providing an additional volume per unit area of settable material to at least part of selected ones of the cavities, and compacting the settable material in at least part of all of the cavities, including the additional volume per unit area of settable material provided to the selected ones of the cavities, to substantially the same thickness. A mould and a scraper suitable for use in the method are also disclosed.

摘要： A method of supplying a made-to-order flood source includes, in response to receiving an order for a flood source from a customer, selecting a mold from a plurality of molds to meet a size of the flood source ordered. A radionuclide is dispersed in a heat curable matrix material to form a mixture. The mixture is cured in the selected mold by application of heat. The cured mixture may be thereafter removed from the mold and encapsulated to form the flood source. The method allows the finished flood source to be shipped to the customer within twenty-four hours of receiving the order.

摘要： An adjustable baking form includes a strip of malleable material forming a series of longitudinally extending discrete links. Each link includes a wall section and a base section extending transversely from the wall section. The base sections are bent generally perpendicularly to the respective wall sections and the wall sections are bent relative to one another to hand-manipulate the strip into a desired shape. When opposite ends of the strip are brought together, the links cooperatively form a baking vessel. Baking a cake includes providing a roll forming a series of discrete links and manipulating the roll to a desired shape. The first and second ends of the roll are joined to form the baking vessel having the desired shape. A resultant cake is obtained in the shape of the baking vessel after placing the baking vessel on a baking pan and pouring batter into the baking vessel.

摘要： In a method of manufacturing a resin molded article, resin including a foaming agent is injected into a cavity defined in a mold assembly. Then, a movable mold of the mold assembly is moved to partly expand the cavity so that the foaming is promoted at the part where the cavity is expanded. Therefore, a high foamed portion having voids therein and a low foamed portion having an expansion ratio less than that of the high foamed portion are integrally formed in the resin molded article.
