The take-away assembly includes a drive assembly and a can body transport assembly. The drive assembly includes a motor and a support member. The take-away assembly motor is operatively coupled to said support member and structured to move said drive assembly support member in a generally horizontal direction The can body transport assembly includes a number of gripping assemblies. Each gripping assembly is coupled to said drive assembly support member. Each gripping assembly includes a number of pairs of opposed gripping members sized to grip a can body. The gripping assemblies are structured to travel across the path of said ram assembly and to selectively grip a can body.

A bumper is disposed below the housing and projects outwardly to cushion the carrier against impact. The bumper is supported by a base. Structure extends from the housing through the bumper and into the base to secure the carrier. One housing module includes a recess having container abutment surfaces and angled surfaces at the opening to guide a container into engagement with the abutments. One housing module includes a recess having ribs separated by relief vents to relieve air pressure as a container is loaded into the carrier. One housing module includes a container holder having a pair of upright supports separated by side openings. The bumper and the base each including a weight positioned at a selected location to uphold the filled container.

    摘要: A container supply unit and an automated analyzer in which anomalous orientations of containers ejected from a container (cuvette) ejection part can be prevented. This container supply unit has a container storage part, a container ejection part, and a container alignment part. The container ejection part includes a circular belt, placement members provided on said circular belt, and a belt rotation mechanism. The belt rotation mechanism rotates the circular belt in an R direction, forming an outward leg along which the placement members move upwards and a return leg along which the placement members move downwards. The placement members carry containers placed thereon on the outward leg and eject said containers to the container alignment part between the outward leg and the return leg. The top of each placement member during the outward leg comprises the following: a first inclined surface that is sloped upwards from one end, on the circular-belt side, towards the other end; and a second inclined surface that is sloped downwards from one end, which connects to the first inclined surface, towards the other end.

    摘要: Machines for sorting objects having a series of carriages fixed at a given interval (P) to two drive belts configured to move along closed-loop paths in two parallel vertical planes are provided. Each path may include a top horizontal section and a bottom horizontal section joined together by two curved connecting end sections. Two end assemblies may be arranged at the curved end sections of the path. Each assembly may include crown gears which are configured to engage with the belts and a series of sliders which are configured to retain the carriages along a semicircular section close to the crown gears. The carriages are thus able to perform a rotary/translational movement along the end connecting sections and keep their support surface horizontally oriented.
