A film forming method of forming a film by accelerating powder of a material with gas and spraying and depositing the powder onto a surface of a substrate with the powder being kept in a solid state includes: a substrate film forming step of forming a film. The film forming step includes jetting out the powder and inert gas from a nozzle towards the substrate, causing inside of the chamber to be under positive pressure by the inert gas, and depositing the powder on the surface of the substrate.

A knee-action-type suspension is provided with an arm member, a compression coil spring, and a shock absorber. The coil spring is extended and retracted between a full-rebound state and a full-bump state in accordance with the magnitude of a load applied to a vehicle body. A wire of the coil spring includes a large-diameter wire portion, a small-diameter wire portion, and a wire diameter varying portion. The large-diameter wire portion is provided in a first portion of the coil spring, which is on the side near to a pivot. The small-diameter wire portion is provided in a second portion of the coil spring, which is on the side far from the pivot. A wire diameter of the large-diameter wire portion is greater than a wire diameter of the small-diameter wire portion.

In a vehicle seat (10), beads (42) are formed to a SC panel (30), and the beads (42) extend along the seat front-rear direction adjacent to joint portions (40) at seat width direction insides of the joint portions (40). When repeated load in the seat up-down direction is input to a seat width direction intermediate portion of the SC panel (30), for example, the SC panel (30) is displaced by the input load in the seat up-down direction, and tensile load in the seat width direction acts on the beads (42) as a result. The beads (42) extend or contract in the seat width direction due to the tensile load. Load input to the SC panel (30) is thereby absorbed by the extension and contraction of the beads (42), and load in the seat up-down direction input to the joint portions (40) is reduced. This enables concentration of stress at the joint portions (40) to be suppressed.

A method for producing a stabilizer and a heating device allows the entirety of a hollow member to be uniformly heated to a temperature necessary for heat treatment, even in a case in which a cross section varying hollow member is used as the starting material. In a preliminary heating process, energizing heating is performed between electrodes, which are arranged at cross section varying parts at both ends of large cross sectional area part, which can be heated. In an entire heating process, by performing energizing heating between electrodes, which are arranged at both ends of the cross section varying hollow member, the latter can be heated. In the preliminary heating process, it is desirable to perform energization heating at a part having a cross sectional area ratio of 90% or more with respect to the part having a large cross sectional area in the cross section varying part.

A stabilizer link and a manufacturing method therefor in which there is less concentration of stress, the stud releasing load is improved, and the accuracy of centering of the ring member is improved. A second subassembly is formed by inserting a ball seat of a first subassembly into a ball seat receiving portion of a housing and by arranging a ring member at an opening side of the ball seat. A stopper base portion is abutted to an opening end surface of the ball seat. An outer peripheral end portion taper surface has a taper shape in which a diameter is increased toward an opening side in an axial direction, in a stopper base portion and it is abutted to a slope portion for a stopper base of the housing. An opening side of the ball seat is pressed through the ring member by caulking inwardly a caulking portion.

An overhead wire tension balancer can prevent rotation of an inner cylinder connected with an overhead wire, without deteriorating rotation preventing function, even if stroke is increased, and does not complicate production steps. A rotation preventing plate is formed at the inside of an inner cylinder, and an opening which cannot rotate relative to the rotation preventing plate and which can relatively move in a condition which passes a long plate, is formed on the rotation preventing plate. The long plate is formed by two long plate pieces in an L shape in which a tip is bent, a hanging portion is formed by this bent portion and prevents the rotation preventing plate from disengaging from the long plate.
