    摘要: A stretched film having excellent printing and writing properties and mechanical strength is produced by stretching a film molded from a styrene-grafted polyolefin resin in at least one direction. The styrene-grafted polyolefin resin is produced by heating an aqueous suspension containing 100 parts by weight of polyolefin resin particles, from 10 to 400 parts by weight of a styrene monomer, and a free radical polymerization initiator in an amount of from 0.01 to 1 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of the styrene monomer.

    摘要: In a process for producing an ether compound by the catalytic hydrogenolysis of an acetal compound in the presence of a catalyst, the improvement wherein an acetal compound of the following formula (2) ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkoxy group, Y represents an alkylene group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, n represents a positive number of from 1 to 6, the two groups R(YO).sub.n may, together with the carbon atom to which they are bonded, represent a 1,3-dioxolane ring, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, independently from each other, represent a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl group, provided that at least one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom,is catalytically hydrogenolyzed in the presence of a palladium catalyst on a carbon carrier in the absence of an acid substance added, thereby to form an ether compound of the following formula (1)R(YO).sub.n CHR.sup.1 R.sup.2 (1) whereinR, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, Y and n are as defined.

    摘要: The present invention provides a catalyst composition and a process for reducing and removing nitrogen oxides with ammonia in the presence of molecular oxygen, said catalyst composition comprising at least three components of titanium, vanadium and magnesium and optionally tungsten, the titanium and tungsten being contained as oxides and the vanadium and magnesium being contained as oxides and/or sulfates. This catalyst composition is characterized by magnesium being substituted for all or part of expensive tungsten and has advantages of high activity with improved catalyst life and heat resistance.

    摘要: A biaxially-stretched polypropylene composite film comprises a biaxially-stretched substrate film of a crystalline polypropylene and a monoaxially- or biaxially-stretched film of a resin composition bonded in laminated state to at least one surface of the substrate film, the resin composition comprising 96 to 50 percent (by weight) of a propylene copolymer (a), 3 to 30 percent of a polybutene-1 (b), and 1 to 20 percent of an ethylene-propylene-butene-1 random copolymer (c). The propylene copolymer (a) is an ethylene-propylene random copolymer (a.sub.1), an ethylene-propylene-butene-1 random copolymer (a.sub.2), or a mixture (a.sub.3) of at least two kinds of copolymers each of at least two monomers selected from ethylene, propylene, and butene-1. The resin composition comprising the components (a), (b) and (c) is also provided and is characterized by its capability of being heat sealed at low temperatures.
