    摘要: The particle trap (15) that extends behind an elbow in the air flow stream (6) in a turbo-prop engine is delimited at the back by an end plate (12) to which intake housing suspension rods (10) supporting the front of the rotating shaft (2), are fastened. It is divided by suspension arms (11) which may be drilled (21) to restore the continuity of the annular chamber forming the trap. Therefore the intake housing suspension device extends through the trap. This type of trap makes use of the inertia of solid bodies carried by the air drawn in, and which could damage the engine blades, and to collect them.

    摘要: In a process for the manufacture of a hollow turbomachine blade in which die-forged and machined sheets are assembled and diffusion welded face to face after applying an antidiffusion coating to areas of the sheets where the assembly is to be expanded in forming the hollow blade, the welded assembly is subjected to a step of unsticking the coated areas of the sheets which are pressed together during the diffusion welding step, the unsticking step including subjecting the assembly to localized heating in a region where the intermediate sheet is provided with intercavity communication holes, and injecting pressurized gas into the welded assembly in a controlled manner to hot form a gas distribution duct in the locally heated region of the assembly to facilitate unsticking of the remainder of the coated areas. Apparatus for use in carrying out the unsticking step is also described.

    摘要: A system is disclosed for injecting air and fuel into a combustion chamber of a turbojet engine in which the system includes a fuel injector having an axis A, a first radial swirler located rearwardly of the fuel injector having a plurality of first air passages to direct air into the fuel emanating from the fuel injector in a first plane generally perpendicular to the axis A, a housing located rearwardly of the first radial swirler and forming a pre-mixing chamber bounded by a converging-diverging wall forming a venturi with a throat, the housing having a plurality of second air passages forming a second radial swirler to direct air into the pre-mixing chamber forwardly of the venturi throat in a second plane generally perpendicular to the axis A. The housing also has a plurality of third air passages forming an axial swirler, the second passages and the third passages alternating in a circumferential direction around the housing. A bowl member has a flanged portion connected to the housing and is located rearwardly of the housing such that fuel and air emanating from the premixing chamber and air emanating from the axial swirler pass into the bowl member and are subsequently mixed and passed into the combustion chamber, to which the bowl member is attached.

The latter is provided with a cavity (16) communicating with chambers (21, 23) around a gas flow stream (31). A limited air current traverses the cavity (16) and is sufficiently reduced to ensure the development of a heat convection, which renders uniform the temperature of the case element (7) and the ring (5) and consequently the diameter of the latter.
