Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and medical devices for harmonizing data from a plurality of non-invasive sensors are described. A physiological parameter can be determined by harmonizing data between two or more different types of non-invasive physiological sensors interrogating the same or proximate measurement sites. Data from one or more first non-invasive sensors can be utilized to identify one or more variables that are useful in one or more calculations associated with data from one or more second non-invasive sensors. Data from one or more first non-invasive sensors can be utilized to calibrate one or more second non-invasive sensors. Non-invasive sensors can include, but are not limited to, an optical coherence tomography (OCT) sensor, a bio-impedance sensor, a tissue dielectric constant sensor, a plethysmograph sensor, or a Raman spectrometer.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide devices and methods capable of optimizing in vivo electrochemical measurement of a molecule of interest, for example glucose. Such aspects may include an engineered binding protein, for example an engineered glucose binding protein. The engineered binding protein may change conformation in response to binding or unbinding to a ligand and/or analyte, for example glucose. Such conformational changes may either expose or occlude a redox molecule attached to the binding protein. When exposed, the redox molecule may generate a redox signal dependent upon the binding protein's conformational state. The redox signal may be measurable, for example by cyclic voltammetry. The protein may be incorporated into a sensor that can be used as an implantable continuous glucose monitoring device.

Abstract: A physiological sensor system that may include an analyte sensor configured to measure at least one analyte at varying depths at a tissue site of a user. The analyte sensor may include a plurality of electrodes patterned on a semi-rigid substrate meant to penetrate the skin of a user. The substrate may be varying lengths to increase the number of electrodes at the penetration site of the user and decrease the likelihood of a bad reading due to poor placement of the electrodes. The electrodes may be patterned on both sides of the substrate to increase number of measurement sites. The analyte sensor can be positioned in an electrochemical cell disposed in the body of the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes example systems, methods, apparatuses, and medical devices for obtaining physiological parameter data from a wearable patient monitoring device. An example patient monitoring device can include an emitter and a detector. The emitter can emit light through tissue of a patient. The detector can sense the light after it passes through and is attenuated by the tissue and can generate a signal indicative of the sensed light. When the patient monitoring device is attached to or worn by the patient, the emitter and detector are aligned such that the light from the emitter travels through an opening between a first bone and a second bone of the patient prior to being sensed by the detector.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a physiological measurement system that can automatically adjust the number of wavelengths used based on the quality of a sensor signal that is reflective of an optical radiation detected at a sensor after tissue attenuation. The signal quality is examined to determine if it is sufficient to support the use of a full set of wavelengths. If it is determined to be insufficient to support the full set, a reduced number of wavelengths is used.

Abstract: A sensor system for obtaining and displaying information relating to physiological parameters, such as Total Hemoglobin and Pulse rate for use by a user such as an athlete. The system can present the measured physiological parameters to the user in a useful way. For example the system can display a visual multi quadrant infographic display, which can present the total hemoglobin values measured by the system in a particular season. The system can also display a visual elevation infographic display, which can present a comparison of the total hemoglobin values measured by the system over a period of time and/or at various altitudes. The system can also display a visual yin-yang infographic display, which can present a comparison of one or more metrics calculated by the system or one or more parameters measured by the system. The system can provide useful information about the user's health and/or well-being and allow the user to quickly and easily view and interpret relevant information.
