    Abstract: A microneedle device system includes a microneedle device having a sheet-like microneedle having a sheet in which one surface is a skin contact surface and the other surface is a rear surface, and in which a plurality of microneedles are formed substantially along a surface of the sheet, and in which the microneedles in the skin piercing region are raised from the skin contact surface so as to be capable of piercing skin if the sheet is bent in a thickness direction, an adhesive layer that is disposed on the sheet-like microneedle, and a liner that is attached to the adhesive layer so as to be releasable therefrom, and an auxiliary tool having a bending portion which bends the microneedle device in the thickness direction, and on which the microneedle device is mounted so as to be movable along the bending portion.

    Abstract: An applicator of one embodiment is for applying a sheet member to skin. The applicator includes: a body including a bottom plate configured to face the skin and a bending portion provided to the bottom plate; a cap being movable along a slide direction substantially orthogonal to the bottom plate; and an elastic member configured to extend along the slide direction between the body and the cap. The elastic member applies, to the cap, elastic force that acts in a direction away from the bottom plate, the cap being movable toward the bottom plate against the elastic force. The bending portion bends the sheet member that has advanced thereto in a pressed state in which the cap has been moved toward the bottom plate, thereby applying the sheet member to the skin.

    Abstract: An applicator according to one embodiment includes a housing having a tubular shape with one closed end, and configured to house an elastic member and a piston plate for transmitting biasing force of the elastic member to the microneedles, and release means configured to release the piston plate engaged in a manner resisting against the biasing force of the elastic member in the housing, to cause the piston plate to move toward an opening of the housing along an axial direction of the housing. The release means is configured, when the release means releases the engagement of the piston plate by moving toward the housing in the axial direction, to transmit force in a direction toward the opening to the housing.
