When the outlet cover moves from the closed position to the open position, and before the switchable member switches the sheet path from the first ejection path to the second ejection path, switching of the sheet path from the first ejection path to the second ejection path is detectable.

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, an operation controller and an air-conditioning mechanism. In response to a heating request for the air-conditioning mechanism during ordinary operation where the fuel cell is operated at an operating point on a current-voltage characteristic curve of the fuel cell, the operation controller compares a heat value-based required current value that is a current value of an operating point that is located on the current-voltage characteristic curve and satisfies a required heat value for the fuel cell with an output-based required current value that is a current value of an operating point that is located on the current-voltage characteristic curve and satisfies a required output for the fuel cell. When the output-based required current value is equal to or greater than the heat value-based required current value, the operation controller causes the fuel cell to be operated at an operating point on the current-voltage characteristic curve. When the output-based required current value is smaller than the heat value-based required current value, the operation controller controls the operating point of the fuel cell to an operating point of lower power generation efficiency than that of the operating point on the current-voltage characteristic curve.

The invention constructs a system which vaporizes a liquid raw material in a vaporizing section and steam-reforms the vaporized raw material in a reforming section to generate hydrogen. A pressure regulating valve for regulating the pressure in the vaporizing section is disposed at anywhere from the vaporizing section to downstream of the reforming section. When a hydrogen requirement is increased, the pressure regulating valve is controlled to decrease the pressure in the vaporizing section. The pressure reduction makes it possible to promote vaporization in the vaporizing section such that the rate of generation of steam can be improved. Moreover, during start-up of the system, the control mode is changed to open the pressure regulating valve, thereby limiting the rate of increase in pressure just after the generation of reformed gas has started.

As a result, the light emitted from the reflection light sensor (60) will be reflected and detected by a light sensor, and it will be electrically detected that a defective part has been produced.

The moving speed of grains in the front chamber is higher than that in the intermediate chamber and the moving speed of grains in the intermediate chamber is higher than that in the rear chamber.

The process for preparing the above fibrous structures comprises applying a treating liquid comprising microcapsules composed of an external wall of a formaldehyde based resin enclosing a perfume and a resinous binder, preferably a low temperature reactive organopolysiloxane prepolymer emulsion, preferably together with a pressure absorbing agent, to at least a part of a fibrous structure and then drying the fibrous structure at a temperature of less than 150.degree. C. to fix said microcapsules on fiber surfaces of the fibrous structure.
