    摘要: A system is presented that comprises a third-party ad provider that serves advertisements to different websites being viewed at a plurality of display devices. The advertisements may be from different advertisers, and may include advertisements from a content service provider. The advertisements from the service provider may include a promotion for a video program presented by the service provider and may provide a selectable option for a viewer of the website to have that viewer's DVR service automatically programmed to record the promoted video program. The selectable option may be selected with a single action by the viewer, and all communications, associations between the display device and the DVR service, and programming of the DVR service may occur automatically without intervention by the viewer.

In some implementations, internal eye geometry can be deformed to capture the effect of refraction in real-time such that the gaze direction of a 3D character's eyes can be modeled during an animation phase prior to a rendering phase in the production of a computer generated motion picture.

    摘要: Various methods, devices, and systems are described for cloud federation in a cloud computing network including bridging computing resources between an enterprise and a cloud or among multiple clouds. These techniques involve generating an image of the host system and decoupling it from its underlying computing resources so that it can be migrated across disparate computing resources in a seamless manner. In one embodiment, an enterprise workload can be bridged with cloud resources to receive software as a service. In other embodiments, bridging is performed across multiple public or private clouds, each potentially having disparate computing resources. In addition, users can access and use these cloud services through a web browser or other network interface anywhere in the cloud computing network as if the services were installed locally on their own computer.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a purified renewable diesel product from a biofeedstock includes filtering the biofeedstock, heating the biofeedstock to about 520° F., introducing hydrogen into the biofeedstock, and treating the biofeedstock in a reactor to generate a renewable diesel product. Additionally, the method includes cooling the renewable diesel product wherein the renewable diesel product comprises a liquid, separating vapors from the liquid, and distilling the liquid in a distillation column to generate the purified renewable diesel product. In at least one embodiment the biofeedstock comprises at least one of waste grease, tallow, algae, algal oil, vegetable oil, and soybean oil.

    摘要: An electrical connector comprises a plurality of wafers within a housing. Each wafer comprises a dovetail that corresponds to a dovetail-receiving groove on the interior side wall of the housing. The coupling of the dovetail and the groove work to stabilize the housing by biasing the side wall inwardly and preventing it from bowing out. Each wafer also comprises an epoxy shoulder to create an epoxy track that can be filled with epoxy to create a seal that secures adjacent wafers to each other and also prevents debris and moisture from entering the housing.
