Abstract:
Systems and methods for imprinting a patterned layer on a substrate are described. Features of patterned layer may be concentrically imprinted in relation to a shaft positioned on a substrate chuck. The substrate may be biased using a radius difference between a diameter of the shaft and an inner diameter of the substrate in relation to a point on an inner edge of the substrate.
Abstract:
A method of processing at least one garment involves a local environment with ambient moisture, a garment having a moisture content, a plurality of work stations, and a threshold amount of moisture. The plurality of work stations operate according to a plurality of parameters. The threshold amount of moisture is the amount of ambient moisture naturally absorbed by the garment. The method includes a processing step, a measuring step, a determining step and an adjusting step. The garment is processed through at least one of the work stations during the processing step. During the measuring step, the moisture content of the garment is measured. The relationship between the measured moisture content and the threshold amount of moisture is determined during the determining step. And, at least one parameter is adjusted based on the relationship between the measured moisture content and the threshold amount of moisture during the adjusting step.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a substrate support system having a chuck body. The chuck body includes a body surface with a pin extending therefrom having a contact surface lying in a plane. The pin may be movably coupled to the chuck body to move with respect to the plane. The pin may also include a cross-member having multiple contact lands.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a method for supporting a substrate that features a chuck body having a body surface with a pin extending therefrom having a contact surface lying in a plane, with the pin being movably coupled to the chuck body to move with respect to the plane. To that end, the method includes disposing the substrate upon two spaced-apart bodies; and moving one of the two spaced-apart bodies away from the substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention features a system to determine relative spatial parameters between two coordinate systems, which may be a mold and a region of a substrate in which mold is employed to generate a pattern. The system senses relative alignment between the two coordinate systems at multiple points and determines relative spatial parameters therebetween. The relative spatial parameters include a relative area and a relative shape.
Abstract:
An apparatus is disclosed for controlling a magnetic clamp on a machine tool having a machine slide driven by a feed motor in response to a motor power source. Current supplied to the feed motor by the motor power source is monitored by a magnetic coil control circuit. The coil control circuit is operative to regulate the supply of current to the magnetic clamp as a function of the current supplied to the feed motor. A machine slide control circuit is disclosed for inhibiting the motion of the machine slide as a function of the current supplied to the feed motor.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an improved process for the extraction of alpha yohimbine from leaves of Rauwolfia species, preferably Rauwolfia canescens/Rauwolfia tetraphylla. Process involves use of non-polar alcoholic solvent e.g. methanol for precipitating the compound of interest, repetitive washing with halogenated solvents and washing with hexane or petroleum ether to obtain high yields of high purity extract. Use of organic acids such as tartaric acid, acetic acid and organic solvent ethyl acetate etc. is eliminated making the process less time consuming and economical. The yield of the final product is 50-60% higher i.e. 600-670 mg/100 g dry leaves, than prior art process. Further, the extract obtained by the process of present invention contains yohimbine hydrochloride as a marker compound in analytically detectable amounts of more than 0.1% of the extract.
Abstract:
Present invention discloses a novel, commercially viable process for extraction of Alpha yohimbine from the bark, stem and leaves of Rauwolfia species. The extract is obtained by a precipitation method involving alternate steps of acidification and alkalization along with use of specific organic solvents. The extract gives higher yield of 7-8 fold as compared to other processes and without use of any column chromatography at all. Yield of alpha yohimbine from roots and leaves of Rauwolfia canescens by process of present invention was 0.017% and 0.4% respectively, indicating that leaves are a much better source. The HPLC analysis of the compound obtained indicated a purity of >90%.

For wiring web widgets of a web mashup application, a web widget registry may be generated based on one or more properties of the web widgets of the web mashup application. Based on the web widget registry, the web widgets of the web mashup application may be wired together, without requiring input from a user. Cycles among the web widgets may also be detected and removed.
